Very cool,Andre. I was actually following along and heard both sides of this qso :) 73 de K4FR
Biggest gun in the west
Great to work you tonight, André! 73
Thanks for the QSO at 07:17. 73, David s51mm 🙂
Tnx qso, 73!
Ciao Andre’ thanks for the video!! Ciao mate . Luca Ik3vut.
You’re so skilled at CW, Andre.
@@KD9ZHF tnx! Morse runner ftw!
73!
We had the same noise it seems
Nice… 🥳
Great QSO, André!
Very nice André. 73
Is that your 10m beam? Nice.
Good evening! I can’t believe that 10m is open like this, that’s amazing. Wow! when did the 10 m open up? How many months has it been open? Thanks. 😀🥳
I’m using a vertical on my balcony. In EST it’s opened like this from 7 to 13 hrs
I am an amateur who has a permit (PX) in Brazil, What equipment would you recommend for a beginner?
I didn't understand anything about the conversation, but I thought it was really cool.
Hello Andre. Please in the future show your antenna setup, if you don't mind. The propagation in your part of the world sounds fantastic without any significant QSB. Thanks. from YC1SDL
Thanks for sharing. 😎
Nice work
The 32 GB SD card seems to be pretty standard with all Yaesu and Icom radios.🎉
Nice. I need to download the software. I think I used disc cleanup or etcher before. It’s been along time ago
Nice video and rig Andre. I remember this QSO. It's always interesting to see the working conditions on the other side. Brian WB4IT
Talvez melhor usar N1MM para fazer o trabalho todo mais rapido. Mas parabens Andre eu fiz o contesto de CT7/VA3FH e talvez estou com o record de Portugal em SO ALL LOW (A) stay warm as it is getting cold here in the Niagara Region also
❤❤👍👍👍
I feel the same about allowing the computer to send your call and the exchange. I like using the paddles and sending them myself. I always say I am a contest participant, not a contender. But I had a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing your experience. You have a great keyer, by the way. 73s
You’ll have to tell me how you run the audio from the rig and the room. I’m sure people will enjoy me cursing 😂
All the pc mic. I need to find a way to capture the monitor. A way that doesn’t require me to sync audio later . Any idea? You use OBS too, how do you capture the cw you’re sending?
@@ve2zdx I am not sure if it applies to the yaesu, i am on a 7300 and in OBS i changed what i think was the "Desktop Audio" capture to the USB audio CODEC of the radio, the same codec you would use for say FT8.. and it captures my TX CW and the RX. Hope that helps. Ill be more than glad to make a video on it.
@ I’ll try it, thanks!. If it works I’ll be happy! Currently I’m having to edit on DaVinci resolve to sync audio… which it extra work I don’t want hehe
@@ve2zdx let me know too. I’ve had zero luck with yaesu tx audio out via usb unless there’s a hidden setting
Worked very well for you
Great job Andre! 73's buddy
I spent 2 hours waiting for people to give their call signs 😂
Haha some stations just forget it 😂
Andre are you really able to head copy cw that is this fast? Amazing! I feel so inadequate!😊
Thanks! Callsigns and short qsos, when a qso goes beyond rst, name, qth, rig and antenna I try to stop it because it becomes uncomfortable. It looks like a big thing but what I do in my head is just like autocomplete in the phone keyboard. That’s why I mostly do DX and very rarely ragchew 😅 73!
Thank you.. best 73’s. 🥳
Hi, I'm PY2YD. Thank you for contact. U was 599! Good Luck!

Feel like I wasn’t supposed to see this.. but.. if it’s what I hope it is I’m jealous
Andre-do you have a lot of RFI noise in the city?
@@KD9ZHF yes, I do. SSB is u comfortable due to the qrm level
73 de RD9W
cool
what speed from your side? 25 wpm?
@@geirha75 30 wpm. I think is as well
They changed the rules, so you can work with anyone in this contest. I was running 36 wpm in the N1MM Logger. As always, you hear me well, and I beg over the band for any QSO-hihi! GL! Janez S51DX.
congratulations on your new rig-looking at the same one myself ,what power and what antenna re you using?
@@MrBracey1970 thanks! This was a vertical on my balcony
Very common flutter when the sun is angry. Usually stations are strong and punch through but it’s like a tunneling tone. So some of the signal is being absorbed and some is bouncing. It’s a cool sound
I had the same "mulitipath" noise in Norway as well today. Did you get a new radio?
@@geirha75 yes, I got it this Friday!
@@ve2zdx CONGRAT! Looks nice!
Congrats on new rig Andre ! I like them
@@JayN4GO thanks! Hope this one can handle the cold hehe 73!
I like CW on it. It is so good on receive.
Congrats on the new rig, OM. Thanks for sharing! 73 de K4FR
thanks! You got a new callsign?
@ve2zdx Yes, sir. Had it a couple weeks now. Need to warm it up :) CU on the air!
tks for this qso and very nice copy always the pleasure André See you soon again73s
Thanks for Qso LZ3ZZ! 73
