An interesting fact about Yakutsk is that it’s home to the permafrost museum, which showcases the unique frozen landscape of Siberia. The museum displays ancient mammoth tusks and remains preserved in the permafrost, some of which are over 40,000 years old! These incredible finds offer a glimpse into life during the Ice Age and show just how extreme the conditions are in Yakutsk, where the grou...

Not everywhere in Canada
Thats some East side bs, here in the West we are lucky if they even plow the road. Even when they do the snow if left behind and its basically a figure it out approach lol😂😂
Note that this is only in cities. Small towns, such as the one i live in, still use the old push-aside method. Shoveling that bit of snow at the end of the driveway is a pain.
Maybe they do that in Montreal but they don't do it in Winnipeg!
Did you know that Canada is quickly sliding towards communism? I dream of a new country……. Canamerica
This is the only place in Canada they do this, most places don’t plow snow other than on major roads.
another AI written and narrated piece of garbage.
2024 -$200 million a year to remove that snow. 4.5million residents. 50,000 average wage, 38,000 after taxes. If you can make $75K, $53K is take home after taxes. Average apt rent- $18,000/yr, house is about 36,000 rent. So, average cost to an average citizen is @ $5,000 for snow removal. Call me crazy, but why don't they get snowmobiles or something? Average. Citizen gets $32,000 after rent, taxes, and that does not include food, phone bill, gasoline, insurance, etc,,etc! How can you live on that?
Roflmao, censored as soon as I put this up!
And America still can’t get it together 😩😩
Nice!! US need to take notes 📝 during Winter. 😂
In winnipeg the just use loaders
I wish they did that in Toronto.
Nah this is the first I've heard of it. I'd love that here in Winnipeg.
It does need to b check from time to time
Canadians for the win yet again 🇨🇦
Always amazed when hearing of cities that receive snow are not equiped for such ??? YEAH ! Montréal, Québec and Canada 😁👍
Rocket science!!
What a waste of time, just drive trotters around dropping salt
👍
That isn’t unique.
Wow really makes me wish that Edmonton would simply do basic residential clearing.
I've seen something similar in Milwaukee. The snow is then moved to the AmFam Field parking lots
lol where tf is this because it’s not any western part of Canada 😂
This is how storm water from floods should be handled... it should NEVER be dumped directly into the ocean
1 million every tower! That way only have to do 10 and my life would be be set
They do that in New York too. They loaded up and dumped it in the water
It’s great for construction companies and dump truck owners. Move snow in the winter; move dirt and stone the rest of the year.
A lot of countries do things more efficiently than the US.
Thats dumb n pointless also very inconvenient to ppl
Not throughout Canada, just Montreal
Full of IOU’S 😅
and speed is well regulated
This is definitely not British Columbia
Is that China where they melt the snow from the bottom up? Does anyone know which country uses that technique?
I didn't know this was just us
Another person stealing someone elses video then going and putting this crap yapping AI over it
Great idea!
Yeah, it's nothing to see a long line of dumptrucks behind plows and snow blowers. Not usually one large truck as seen here. When one dumptruck is full, it drives off and the next one in line moves up to take its place.
Trust me is freezing here
I live in Canada😂❤
There's few places in Canada that actually do this. Even in the cities that do, it's generally not done in the entire city. It's generally only done in areas where snowbanks create safety hazards, either blocking visibility or impeding traffic.
This isn't all of Canada
lol my city does not do this in Canada.
Canada ❌ 51th state✅
I lived in a small town in northern Ontario and this is pretty close to how they cleared our streets. When I moved to London Ontario almost 40 years ago I couldn’t believe how bad they were on snow removal and they still are
this must cost a fortune, in vancouver the snow melts the same day it snows.
USA need to get some pointers from Canada when it snow.😮
our city snow dump pile is like 10 stories tall
This is Montreal, but doesn't apply to across Canada. In my town, they'll drive over the basketball net but they leave the cars where they are.
In edmonton we just push it to the side 😂
