Can we connect 2×4 decoder three outputs to 3×8 decoder three inputs and another output of 2×4 decoder to all enables of 3×8 decoder.
No, it's not possible. In a decoder, if there are inputs, it can produce a maximum of outputs. In your case, when the input is 11, only the second decoder gets enabled. For all other input combinations, it produces an output of zero because the second decoder does not get enabled for 00, 01, or 10. Even when it is enabled for 11, all three inputs for the second decoder are zero. Therefore, this system produces zero for all input conditions.

Order does not matter in a K-map, but using the order A, B, and X makes it easier to plot from the table. For example, if you use the order X, A, and B in the K-map, you will first need to check the value of X in the table (third column), and then check the values of A and B (first and second columns). This can make the process more difficult and increase the chance of errors in plotting.

In the standard PAL structure, I have assumed 3 product terms (3 AND gates and one OR gate). That's why I grouped the terms into groups of 3. If you consider a standard structure with 4 product terms, then you would need to form groups of 4.

Steps State Table - Assigning states in Truth Table Primitive flow table - stability wali table Reduced table - after grouping a,b&c Flow table - a,b,c as x1 and d,e,f as x2 Transition table - x1 as 0 and x2 as 1 SR latch - making S and R excitation table from transition table and SR truth table and then obtaining equation and making circuit.
