Hi, i dont have the option to choose the individual kits, could that be because i have the demo? And is there a way to open the drum kit in fl without kontakt?

This was a pretty big pain in the ass to set up. First of all some things have changed since this video was put out. 1) For whatever reason the newest version of Kontakt player will now give the "output" view if you are in minimized mode like the video shows, have to show the full Kontakt rack view, then you can add the output view. 2) One thing the video did NOT point out which was extremally important is that his output channels in Kontakt have stereo physical devices already assigned at the bottom of each channel ( 1|2, 3|4, 5|6, etc.). Mine did not. I had to manually assign each one. I found no way to automatically do this, also the number formats are all out of wack once you get up to 13|14, because you have to start using "unassigned" channels which have different numbers. 3) From the VST wrapper settings > processing, Never ever ever ever hit "reset", it freezes FL studio for me every time. I don't know why. 4) Newest version of FL, every output channel in the connection menu now has a radio button next to them, so you can turn off which channels you don't want to auto assign, so now when you auto map it only assigns to each channel you want. However I agree with the video, do this manually, because my next change is a doozie... 5) I don't know why or how but my channels were bleeding in FL mixer. It happened when I got to the unassigned channels. I some how got the channels to actually use the assigned values they were given by using the "!" button, and refresh in the VST Wrapper connections over and over again. This was the biggest problem. You have to manually update everything with these buttons to make sure they are getting assigned correct values before you apply them to each channel. Once you get ALL that working, then your good to go.

I do exactly what is shown here, but in the "processing" window I no longer get options like "Kt. st. 1 / Kt. st. 1 R," I only get "Kt. St. 1," etc. Because of this I can't process my overheads or rooms in stereo, they only show up in the mixer as mono. This only happens on my new laptop, which I just transferred all of my software onto. I did not have this issue with my old laptop, despite doing exactly the same thing. How can I fix this?

I don't get it. Every single video on how to set up ggd starts off further along than I can get. At around 2:15, you hit a drum and fl studio picks it up. That doesn't happen for me. Kontact takes over my speakers entirely so nothing else can make sound and I can make the drums make sounds on it, but no other program picks it up. Wtf am I missing? It's got to be the least user friendly program I've ever used.

Awesome backing track! Just one small note, in the base part when the tapping riff would come in I think it's off, probably just by a half step though (Probably supposed to be a Db-Eb instead of C-D). Just noticed when trying to track over this, there was some weird dissonance with the other tracks. Otherwise love this!

When I do this my kick, snare, toms, and cymbals occupy 2 inserts each, left and right. But the room mics somehow come through stereo?
