WEEKEND VLOG - Post-Pilates lunch, food shop & Holland & Barrett Haul, making mac'n'cheese & more!
Hey all,
Hope you are well. This was a mini vlog from yesterday morning, a very typical Saturday morning for me so thought I'd pick up the camera and show you what I normally get up to on a Saturday morning. I started off my morning by going to my Pilates class for 9:30am. This was followed by a little coffee stop, a food shop and a cheeky trip to Holland and Barrett. In the video, I show you my mini food haul from Asda along with my Holland & Barratt haul where I picked up some new excited healthy bits to try. Once I got back home, I then had my fave post-workout meal/snack which I show you how to make. I then did a cheeky little winter clean of the kitchen ready for my new swanky Sage coffee machine which got delivered! I then did a little mac n cheese ready for my family meal later and finished off the vlog with my fave, a blueberry matcha latte!

Hi Annabelle. I will do a hair update soon. Luckily my hair loss stopped around 9 months. My hair has grown back for the most part but I also did a big chop so it’s quite short and has gone even curlier than it was before! Still not the same as it once was but I’m glad it has grown back in terms of thickness and strength xx
Do you wish you'd done this sooner? Would you do it again if life was different? I'm 46 and spent 32 years of my life with food noise, on a diet xx
I’m glad I did it when I did. I used to be slim before and drastically gained weight over 3-5 years. I don’t have any regrets but it is tough and you definitely need to think of it as a tool and make lifestyle changes in the long term. Xx

I did Pilates the first time I lost over 4 stones in 2003. It really helped to tone me up. I did it at home. My son was small at the time. I always tried to fit it in in the morning before he woke up. I tried yoga once it wasn’t for me. It’s the 3rd time now that I am trying to lose at least 3 stones. It seems to happen every 10 years. I did it in 2003, 2013 and now 2024

I eat what ever I like because it’s so little and I’ve lost so much weight and my hair is falling out so I just wear a braided weave. Other than that I do feel better 💐. I’ve missed watching your channel well I just watch the old vlogs over and over.

@@hazalbeeI had the surgery 10/29, 239 - current weight is 185. I use to want to eat so badly that I’d fight the air lol. I guess I’m getting use to the two bites. I love watching the girl with curly:-) my favorite video is your travel vlogs. My hair I just try really hard not to think about and use the TikTok mixture - with rosemary henna and some other ingredients
@@tallyfeaturinggranny8511 Ahh wow you’re doing so well!! If your surgery was in October, the hair loss stage hopefully will be over for you soon. My hair loss stopped around 4th-5th month. I still religiously use rosemary oil so keep using it consistently and massage it into the scalp for at least 60 seconds! ❤️
You need to add biotin and collagen to your diet.

Just curious Hazel. Are you, despite the gastric sleeve, able to eat this type of food without discomfort? I’m hoping your answer is yes but I’ve read so much about dumping syndrome and having to severely restrict carbohydrates.
Hi Christof. To be honest, I only tend to have few bites of sweet treats (eg I wouldn’t have a whole doughnut - only 2-3 bites) so I don’t experience dumping syndrome that often. I’ve only really ever experienced it 2 or 3 times in 11 months (one bad experience I had was after having a fancy cold coffee that had quite a lot of sugar in it - I usually have sugar free coffee). Carbs tend to be fine in small amounts. It’s all about moderation to be honest, I still enjoy the food I used to, just in very small amounts (which still hits the spot!). Hope that helps :).
