Single-pour pour over technique using a hario v60
This is one of my first attempts at using the single pour technique I learned from Tales Coffee Roasters.
I’m still new to the whole pour over thing, but I’m really liking it so far. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

This is my first LPU brown belt lock open! I used super heavy tension. The min lift on #3 and the super max lift of the interactive on #2 can be tricky.

I added this little padlock to my Walmart pickup order for $4. I believe this is the 50mm shackle version. Totally worth it.

@siskospaceman I am. I signed up for atlas coffee a little over a year ago. It's a company that sends you coffee from different countries each month.

That is a nice pick. What material was used in the handle???
It is made from spalted tamarind in the back and orange Osage in the front where my fingers are. It also has tiny silver inlays. Check out GullinBursti Creation on Instagram if you’re interested in getting your own. Very reasonably priced.
Almost looks like its missing a spring in the first chamber....
I think you have a driver pin stuck in the chamber. I would put a deep hook pick in it try to get the pin to dislodge while trying to wiggle the core with a tension tool. The other thing you could do is hold the lock bible downwards and give it a good wack against a solid object like a table to try and get the pins to dislodge. cheers
Thanks! I’ll have to try the deep hook trick next time I’m at my lock desk. I definitely whacked that sucker on my desk many times. Scared my poor pup. 🐶😖
