Viser ingeniørsoldater bli angrepet av Taliban med RPG og håndvåpen fra 250m, samt funn og fjerning av en skarp veibombe. De norske soldatene var stasjonert i Maymana, Afghanistan i 2012. Hovedoppdraget til troppen var å klarere veien for improviserte veibomber.

At first I saw they came an aid mission or something, then I realize they"re just shooting, then again what the hell is Norway doing in Afghanistan, I think that the west sees Afghanistan like a " realistic training " for their soldiers no more no less. And then we complain about refugees, Let's say USA had business there against Russia ( a perfect excuse in a perfect world ), but why Norway ? a population with such a small population going to make some last hits in a whole another world, thousands of KM away ?
It's a NATO member and since the war in Afghanistan started after the US called out Article 5 (NATO members have to assist if one of them is attacked and asks for help), Norway simply obliged to the treaty they've signed.
+Phil M you've said the words. . who attacked who ? It is so stupid USA have lost a lot of time and money and lives not only themselves but also their allies; which could have been used in better ways.
+DSweashox Arguably Al Quaida attacked the US. There is no question though that the war in Afghanistan was the wrong answer. And you're certainly right about the waste of money, material and of course people.
Phil M just to make things clear, Al-Qaeda is a creation of the USA and so is ISIS ( indirectly ), they were established to fight dirty fights in the place of USA, Saudi Arabia, Israel; fed by their own fanatic ideologies. but they eventually got out of control and eventually end up with disasters for the locals more than the west. Since the end of WWII the middle east became such a confused place.
