where did you buy food? in the Park at Mopani? Or did you bring all from Phalaborwa?
We pre-prepped all our meals in JHB and took up with us, I travel with a large Camping Fridge / Freezer. Mopani has a fairly decent selection of Meat, Veg, Bread, Spices and Canned food, but limited especially during peak seasons.
It's such a lovely Camp

@@driftingscouts Thanks for the reply, I was there around 15 years ago, I guess a little bit has changed. I don't remember there being a bird hide, so that'll be good to go to, especially as its accessible from camp at night.

Hey thanks for sharing! - can you tell me what is the power/ load shedding situation in the camps? How long were the cuts and did the generators always work?
Hi Sorry for the delayed reply, actually just got back from Kruger. The cuts depend on the current Loadshedding status. But if there is its normally 2 hour stints without power. The bigger camps have backup generators. So i would say power is up and running 99% of the time.

How much per night?
Camping is R410 per night for 2 people further additional guests R104 up to a max of 6 guests per site. Bungalows are R1530 for 2 guests This does exclude daily conservation fees, heres a link to the sanparks website www.sanparks.org/reservations/accommodation/accommodation-type/park/26/camp/43
