I don't like that Miku's version was used. The song only got popular because of Rin and Len after all. Miku's voice kinda ruins it for me.

Why cut out the intro? More Trance tracks need proper intros like this one had! It gives it character!

Got it! HSP has allowed me to have a copy of the full edit (and also much higher quality than the audio of this video). The song will be played live at this upcoming Anime Expo at AX Dance, and may be featured on my channel at a later date.

I'm attempting to see if I can get a copy of this full edit from HSP. Let's see how that goes.

I don't know why they'd decide to just cut out the first 2 minutes of the song in 2013. Having the full 4 minute intro is sort of what always made this song great.

Still no. Nicosound's encoder is worse than converting it yourself. For one, their encoder is based on the video's original audio bitrate. So if the video on nicovideo was encoded using 160Kbps AAC, it will create a 160Kbps MP3. This isn't a good thing from a quality perspective. They also encode their mp3s with a cutoff. No, that doesn't make a "nice quality mp3". TH-cam has pretty horrible encoding settings, even for the 720p video (192Kbps AAC with an 18.5KHz frequency cutoff), and this compression is worsened when it's converted again to MP3. The best thing you can do is download the original video from Nicovideo and demux the audio yourself, or even convert it to mp3 yourself. Just don't do it with the TH-cam version.
