Who is the strongest character in Touhou Lost Word in your opinion?

it all comes down to budget issues, i think the game currently has 2 server still managed under NextNinja. while JP literally doesn't have collabs at all it's because they have to manage two servers at the same time, and that does cost. can't lie that the "collabs" that yall having (i quit LW) is bad but seeing how the game is trying to even stay alive it's best not to hope for something big to happen anytime soon. the fact that they're even trying to make collabs for global at all is just because, supposedly, global will target at a larger group = advertise the game = make more money but seeing how they're doing it, they're just wasting money further

Geniunely all the hype about a cover was not really boosting the game. I don´t know Mint Fantôme and I certainly don´t watch VTubers on TH-cam (more on Twitch but to lazy to look for them) and I would have rather collabed with actual Touhou content creators to boost the game by having them sponsor the game or going the route you suggested that having alternative worlds. However given the fact how even our selfinsert character within the story became female for some strange reason I like to imagine that they wouldn´t put male characters in a genderbend state which would require for them to just make up new lore and I feel like it´s already painful to write those event stories and putting lots and lots of time to make a comprihensive story to follow Often then not I feel like the majority of event stories feel like there could have been so much more lore packed into it but end up falling short like the recent event stories I have seen that had already been released feel like there is so much stuff missing and I also feel like the event stories are just resolving incidents and fixing a world before it´s to late or go out of control and that alone is alot to write for certain event stories that last like on. I mean look at the now recent christmas story in which we got a christmas story before, why releasing that not a month earlier and the other story would have still perfectly fitted into the new year story. If these collabs should be made, they would need to consider on to many things and I feel like alone the amount of Touhou Characters we have is already overwhelming. Adding additional characters into the roaster would mean they have to be assigned to a specific universe for example Sonic the Hedgehog would be to universe U 1 or something like that and alone the fact that we know zero about the meaning of some of the letters feel like they wouldn´t go through with the amount of effort and it would perhaps drag on the Gacha Game longer than 5 years (at least that´s the lifespan of most gachas)

Being completely honest, this is one of the reasons I stopped playing LW (apart of the game being boring). Out of all things, you would collab with Vtubers?

True, they could at least give us something like clothes (probably a copyright nightmare though), or an exclusive story card with the vtuber's signature. Instead just a lame cover song (no hate towards the vtubers, the song is great, but the game hype it up as some sort of great collab when it's just a song, which might not be better than the original since they are not singers).

i recently returned to this game and good lord this is making me want to go back to my guardian tales hyperfixation the collabs are so lame 😭idk how i would be excited for a vtuber i dont even know covering a random lostword mv (but to be honest i'd only be excited for a marisa one 🤷)

Even the Battle Cats do better collaborations, although I feel that LW's game format is not appropriate for such a collaboration.

I literally can’t imagine Sonic in TLW because Sonic would immediately dip after know what kind of game this is 😭 “I’M PISSING ON THE MOOONN!! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT OBAMA? I PISSED ON THE MOON YOU IDIOT!” But seriously only Vtuber collabs? Which is crazy because Limbus is gonna have its first collab with Arknights during the summer. Tho than again no point to compare the two as one of them clearly doesn’t have a progressing story unless you count the… beach episode (Are they still continuing that plot because i haven’t played LW in 8 months)

If they ever made a collabs with other games, it will be just references like robots on Moriya Shrine in the background on cutscenes in Gundam for example. I can't really see them adding costumes on the games you suggested. I also have thought of the vtuber costumes, but not the story card ones. That sounds great too I'd say.
