Woowwwww this is a sick throwback
Bob balled out here! Had only seen more recent vids of him, guess I wasn't really familiar with his game :o
I never realize how trashed the roof was in that facility until this video. Looks like a cat got to it. Always nice to see Lang make an appearance as well
lol bout that roof
I was hoping you were gonna post this. This was my first doubles tournament and just watching A was so much fun. I hope they have more of these in the future.
I love these archive films with the commentary! It really helps me understand what goes in the mind of high level volleyball players
YESSSSS
You like the oldies/archives? Should I do more?
@ I could watch any good game of grass for hours
@@chandlernorth dew it
Bruh why the nets so saggy
Okay Ms. No Sleeves for once lol
in what way was 3:25 legal... you cant set with a "directional block"
first contact dawg! able to “double” any first contact in this format! (would NOT be legal in sand)
It wasn't a directional block. It was a purposeful double to the hitter lol.
Idk what the specific ruling says but it thought if your foot touches the line it’s a fault
Nah that serving run is fucking c-r-a-z-y. I don't blame the team for struggling that hard because his serves weren't as deadly in the first set as they were in the second. If you can't pass to the setter, send it over!!!
@@serega-chill over on one is definitely a new strategy for me 🤔🤔🤔🤔… gonna have to consider that in my next strategy/coaching video
Question because i'm trying to learn all the rules still. Wouldn't that push at 0:10 be an open hand tip technically?
Not sure - I think I agree, illegal. Maybe the blocker touched it (first)?
U play bigger than a guy who’s 6 ft
Hey, great video! Question, how did you set up the net on the turf? Thanks
0:54 totally wrong on when it was but here
Good video! I like the analytical approach with consideration of tendencies and putting the hitter in a “less comfortable” position!
Love the Background! What frames or how did you det up each picture? Great tips too I will be thinking about this as I play
@@JNVolleyball I used iMovie for this video. And Mixtiles/Shutterfly to capture the summer fun.
Tendencies and Tyler pretty much. Notice them and just pretty much watch and imitate him lol
Imitating Tyler’s form or skill is never a bad call!
When I first started playing grass I would always go for the straight down swing but as I've moved up in skill level I can see a benefit from swinging deeper to the back line. Thanks for the tips. I wish other higher level players would put out stuff like this.
Glad you're seeing the light! Lots of "high potential” players in my experience struggle with this. Cool to hear your growth!!
For clarification, for step #4 (protecting the middle), are you saying if the blocker calls angle that the defender shouldn't stay directly on the line and instead protect the middle?
@@jaypark9644 in my opinion, at the highest level, diggers should NOT justify covering the line (last 2’) at the mercy of becoming unbalanced on impact (reducing their full range) or at mercy of available space in middle of court. At the highest levels, if the hitter is to BOMB the ball down the line, blockers eyework is to recognize it early & expected to separate hands to protect low line // the line and give diggers more time to react to it (regardless of angle call).
@@chandlernorth gotcha, thanks for the insight. so where would you reccomend defenders "base" at in that situation? i see at 7:00, you're lined up behind the blocker, do we just stand behind the block and react?
@@jaypark9644 depends! that would require an entire new 10min breakdown video to fully explain 😂😂😂

That dunk at the end!
That cele by the other team at 2:50 is wild
Love the commentary
Do we think the swing at 1:45 hit the antenna (violation) or net (clean)??
Antenna
that right antenna seen better days
what made the tournament run so late?
1. May be a one-trick pony but obviously 14 gets upppppp 2. By 24 I meant 21 the monster and 3. That 2nd/3rd point of second set 😮😍 👌 👍 🥰 >>>>>
You can use time stamps for the epic point callout. Example: 7:33
Why does 9 look a science teacher but hes actually good 😂
No one outperforms Lil Wayne on collab songs....just like no one outperforms Lil Wills...but maybe 24 finally did. Dude is a monster too lol
@@patrickdougherty5841 I have no clue what this comment means
Clarification - Patrick meant #21 is a monster lol.. which is facts.
sick game
Nice solid entertaining game to watch , good hits from both sides
OKAY T RANGE!
For his heights it’s not impressive
The stand up vertical beach slap was niiiiiiice.... Mr. Always Working on Something.... were tight option balls a point of focus?? An allllll lefty match would be cool
Love this, thanks for sharing your insights.

Who are the Green Shirt and Orange Shirt guys??, And how did they become my goats Players so quickly?!?!
I would love to hear how you balance your job and the amount of time you commit to practice and working out? That is something that I've really struggled with because on one hand I have to eat and have a shelter over my head but on the other hand I want to practice more and get better. Also the same conundrum applies with at what point do i make the decision to move towards a bigger city like Milwaukee in order to play against higher competition?
The grind is real, I’m still figuring it out! Keep chasing those dreams! 🏆
Great stuff Chandler! Looking forward to part two
Stay tuned! More to come!!
Great analogy and concept....practice makes PERMANENT. Sooo...Waupaca winner age????
