I saw green jello for my first time last year. I didn't know what to expect, and it was the most fun concert I've ever been too!

I also saw this movie way to young. I remember digging through the trash with a friend at my local dollar video(probably looking for old porn the video store through away) and I found the poster for this movie. I hung it on my bedroom wall thinking it had a punk rock vibe and rented the movie a couple days later. I think my jaw was hanging for the whole movie. 12 year old me and I think 40 year old me still cant understand why he licked that off his hand?!? F'ing crazy movie and I still love it.

If the violence in this movie shocked you when you first watched it you should definitely check out funny games 1997 (the original Austrian version) if you haven’t yet

You know when you go to Walmart, and you can find those "double play" DVD/Bluray sets, where they'll put two similar movies in one case? If nobody puts "Detroit Rock City" and "Dazed And Confused" together in one of those "two-fer" deals, then the whole concept is a waste.
