The opinion that there is no objective reality & only meaning derived from thoughts and words is scary. Reminds me of 1984 by Orwell. “We’ve always been at war with Eurasia!”

Ha! Your whole existential reality...your worldview...is based on one of thousands of religions that was formed by hundreds of different storytellers, interpreters, mythologists, poets, and iron age peoples, that eventually had to confess a church's faith or be killed. You've thought this through very well. 😅

    • @user-qi3cj2cx5b

@@gooddaysahead1 ? what? They killed those who confessed Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior,Nero burned, beheaded & fed them to lions & christians are still being persecuted for their faith in Pakistan, India, Nigeria...etc, all they have to do to not get killed or beaten is to deny The Lord & no true christian does that,so what are you talking about? Besides that the mark of the beast in the forehead(frontal lobe) is here, neuralink & other brain chips, prophecied over 2000years ago,how much evidence do you need to see God's word is true & without Jesus we will perish, repent, seek The Lord, there's still time.

Constructivists believe objects exist, but do not have meaning outside of human perception Relativism And within these varied perspectives there are still criteria for reaching truth Meanings are not all equally valid There no one right, or objective meaning Means vary how relevant or fulfilling they are; their value can be informed by how attentive they are to the object they reflect; or how well they balance the dialectic process of mediating the interacting between subject and object

Fundamental principles of a theory being wrong make everything that follow wrong. There is no such thing as objective equality. The whole idea that power structures decide everything to take them down would make everything equal is absurd. I would like to be taller, I'm not. Height is one of the best predictors of success, should I know strive for all 6 foot people to cut off 20% of their legs? It's absurd. There are a near-infinite amount of variables that influence your path in life, most of which are biological or genetic. These are almost never taken into account is, it's insane. And if they are it's about societies biases towards them. As if there is no such thing a evolution or natural selection. CT seeks to narrow it down to power because it suits their arbitrary chosen premisse of what constitutes justice, reality & norms. They are the Goth's of science: juvenile, profoundly middle-class privileged & not for anything just against everything. What are you, 14 years old?

emancipatory? All forms of collectivism, communism being just one are anti emancipatory. They may throw the word around tongue-in-cheek but never mean it and it is never even attempted in any country that embraces any form of collectivism (communism, fascism, socialism...etc) The antithesis is individualism (liberalism, libertarianism, conservatism...etc). If you want to challenge ideas, be an individual. Do not accept the groupthink enslavement of the Marxist, Leninist, and Trotskys. All forms of collectivism are the enemies of free and equal people. Critical Theory is the polished form of propaganda that hides in universities, waiting for the naive and stupid to be tricked and coerced into complying with the ideas of the slaver. Communists will tell you they support Critical Theory in general, and all narrower forms in order to control your thought but hate critical thinking.

Yes, just claim you are oppressed, then attempt to tear down the institutions of society at your pleasure. It doesn’t matter if you are the most priveleged person walking this earth. Just say you are oppressed and you win! And if you are a cis white male and are not allowed to feel oppressed by your critical theorist friends, it’s OK. You can simply become a woman and suddenly you are the most over represented opressed group in any space. Good job!

It doesn’t. The reason why the communist society of the Soviet Union is because it wasn’t the right time. Next time it will be the “correct “ socialist society…. It’s a theory of anarchy. It will continue to plague society as long as China keeps influencing our universities

In summary, the School of Frankfurt found a way to substitute the old objective struggle between two social groups for the struggle between multiple social segments of society and their alleged opressor. Theoretically, it would help to fight the oppressive financial elite, however in reality it only helped the financial elite to get out of the spotlight, and foment sectarian hatred between all social groups within the non-elite group (non trilionaires). That's why you see meta capitalists such as George Soros, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Saudi Sheiks, Royal family members giving financial, logistical and academic support to alleged "oppressed" special interests groups activities. They're financing the destruction of what Marx and Engels defined as superstructure, so that the only remaining power structure is the infrastructure (aka financial elite). These authoritarian monsters realized, sometime between the two world wars, that openly authoritarian regimes always end up in genocide and inevitable demise by the intrinsic human craving for freedom. That's why they conceived a plan to slowly forcing populations to claim for less freedom in exchange for promises of protection and equality that will be achieved in a unspecified moment in the future, by a political movement promising such results; however, such goal can only be achieved if people entrust unlimited power to the political movement that purports to achieve these utopian goals. That's the ultimate donkey carrot, since such movement can always avoid accountability for its practical results, and demand unlimited and unconditional credit until their (unachievable) claimed goals are finally achieved. The same movement will never allow discent, cruelly punishing whatever schmuck that dares to oppose it. In the words false attributed to Voltaire: "To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you're not allowed to criticize."

The assertion that an entire race is conspiring to oppress and subjugate the victim class is right out of the nazi playbook. The assertion that history is being suppressed is thoroughly debunked by the fact that the history in question is common knowledge, and always has been. "More important, as critical race theorists we adopt a stance that PRESUMES that racism has contributed to ALL contemporary manifestations of group advantage and disadvantage along RACIAL lines, including differences in income, imprisonment, health, housing, education, political representation, and military service. Our history calls for this PRESUMPTION." "Words That Wound: Critical Race Theory, Assaultive Speech, and the First Amendment" by Matsuda, Lawrence III, Delgado, and KIMBERLE' WILLIAMS CRENSHAW Those are their words from their intellectual papers: It is the entire foundation of the premise. CRT promotes the notion that the fact that a group is measurably superior is proof that everybody in that group is guilty; and, that a group being inferior is proof that everybody in that group is a victim. Further: this principle projects through time; asserting that what happened to the long dead projects onto the guilt or victimhood of the living; even if the living never experienced it at all........... CRT uses history and statistics to justify using government force to implement racial discrimination. CRT obviates the need for any thought, word or act of racism as proof of their presumed verdict. All they need is their preferred race measuring less favorably than another. Regardless of the cause: they declare their favored race to be victims of the other. Then they would use real government enforced discrimination in response to their presumed discrimination; altering laws, policies and practices to favor their preferred race. All for the stated purpose of forcibly making the measurements between races identical. The operative question is whether you support using government force to implement racial discrimination. All the rest is academic. My answer is no.
