This has to be the worst FK episode I’ve ever seen The red team searched 7 rooms but only found 1 item(they got shutout in R2), the blue team won by doing basically nothing and they sh*t the bed in the Room Romp.

Permanent changes from this season onwards: the board now has 6 traditional school subjects (including current events, now used in each episode) and 1 “elective”. The honors round is made easier by asking a new question if redoing a subject, which consequently now allows players to redo any subjects they missed off the bat.

Fun fact. This episode has the highest score for the red team(until S3). This also has the fastest Room Romp this season with 69(nice) seconds

He would’ve been correct cause they wanted to use M&Ms in ET but Mars Inc was against it. Bad move cause Reese’s Pieces sales shot up thanks to ET. The movie’s novelization which came out around the same time as the movie did use M&Ms.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more pissed off watching an episode in my life. The blue team won 4/5 events and yet still lost

No idea why this episode never reran on GAS. There doesn’t seem to be any mistakes in the episode

A few notes about Mrs Grossmeier. I believe was a locker room character earlier in the season, she looks a bit like Mrs Worry, and she appears to be based off an SNL character played by Gilda Radner, who died around the time this was taped.

Whoever edited this episode should be fired. They never put the scores on screen the entire episode or the clock for the locker room This is also the only time a team got the brain bender after the first game Also the producers couldn’t even boil a fricking egg because they were still raw

Fun Fact: This is the only episode this season where the Brain Bender wasn't solved & a team finishes below $300(Tied for Sherri/Steve in Carrington for the lowest winning total at $200). Also the only episode with Locker Room instructions

It seems like 2 of the unaired episodes were filmed on this taping day due to only 2 being available(This & Juan/Leigh)

Interesting to note that this episode had the players wear elbow pads for the whole show rather than just the locker room, which TBH made me think this was the first taped episode cause there’s no other known time they wore elbow pads for the whole show (discounting a later playing of Market Madness where the players in the carts wore them). I personally would’ve kept having them wear elbow pads for the whole show cause they were a sort of fashion statement on kids game shows with a large amount of physical stunts.
