PC Black Screen and Full Fan Speed After Enter Game
Help! My PC is displaying black screen and fan (not sure is CPU oe GPU fan) suddenly spinning at full speed. If I try to hard restart, it sounds for 5 short beeps and the PC won't boot up. If I turn off and on, it will works and boots up.

It's the temperature getting high of the GPU just change the thermal paste or lower down the game settings and this problem will be fixed
I have a starforge voyger creator elite and it does this brand new no temp issue everything is fine till it crashes
I solved this issue with MSI Afterburner. I have the same card and this happend to me twice. One time inside warranty timeframe on onetime outside of warranty timeframe with the replaced card. In my observation the problem seems to be with the nvidia gpu boost technology where the gpu clock goes over the manfacturer stated boostclock. The nvidia boost clock technology seems to reduce the lifespan of some voltage regulating components and mosfets. My solution are the following afterburner setting. Reduce powerlimit to 80%. In the voltage curve editor you have to flatten the curve at manfacturer stated boost clock or reference card boost clock to disable the nvidia boost technology. So now your gpu works under constant voltage and mhz load without the spikes. In my opinion this is planned obsolecence. Maybe these options helps someone. GPU Boost technology is bad in my opinion.
i have a pny nvidia 3060, my connector to it had another connector that branched off of it, i used those instead and havent had a problem since
This happens to me without anything running.
I have The Radeon RX 580 and the same problem but its not overheating I checked the temp and it does this for no reason but only on roblox but on AC it works perfecly fine
it happened to my rx580 just underclock boost frequency to base frequency...
is it the normal or the 2048 sp ? what are the clock speeds please!
Same with rtx 3070
My i9 and 4090 keep doing the same thing. Ive added more and bigger fans for better airflow no luck. I've done alot of bios troubleshooting and graphics adjustments in games. Still having the same problems.
any updates ??
i have the same problem !! i need help
Does any one figured out if its possible to get the monitor back to life, without a reboot? Because machine is still running, i can hear audio perfectly progressing. Only black screen and gfx fans @100%. Keyboad inputs should be fine also. For now, and the last 3 month, since i bought this Asus Duo RTX 20280 Ti fresh refurbished gfx (with new thermo paste and pads) i use in MSI AB core voltage 0%, core&mem clock 0%, power limit 78% temp limit 78°C connected prio temp, and it works stable...should be working with 100% power limit in other games than "The Division 2" and "Resident Evil 4 Remake" RT full, HDR10 @3840x2160@120Hz on my 65" 144Hz Smart TV and 34" UWQHD 3440x1440@100Hz 2nd Monitor (i have an be quiet! DarkPower Pro 11 750W 80Plus Platinum) so cables works fine and an new mainboard+i9 12900k on fresh installed win11pro x64 system... i will try that undervolting tomorrow... it seems that this issue happens when gfx card reaches over +84°C and/or power over 299Watts...i have to find this monitoring switch to turn on inside MSI AB to get some data until the black screen appears p.s. its also well known, that Micron VRam Chips shouldnt be overclocked, because they´re unstable and like to crash -.- and on my gfx are micron's -.-
same with me rtx 2060
I just clean gpu and its port and also decreases fps its working but dont now its just one hour and its not happening again
i got the same problem after trying to service my card :@ open a game and temperature rise so high and fans too, and no display. but after lot of trys i fix it :) its all about your thermal pads. big mm thermal pads make a gap bitween chip and heat sink. So temperature rise high cause no heat sink. Just it. Small problems makes bigs :#
I had the same problem with RTX 2080 Super 8GB WHITE OC, I checked the power supply, cables, RAM memory. I was 99% sure that the GPU was damaged. I bought RX 7700XT 12GB WHITE OC and the problem was solved.
This happened to me a couple of days ago, just update the GPU driver (GeForce experience) and uninstall apps like GPU Tweak for me, or MSI afterburner etc, and install the latest version of it, no more 100% fan speed and black screen
whats your GPU ?

same issue with my rx 5500xt
Same issue I cleaned the dust off my pc, Nvidia is installed, and my GPU is sitting at 42 degrees Celsius. Plz comment any suggestions
The problem is the pin cable that connects the power supply and the graphics card. Replace that pin cable, put a new one and you will solve the problem. 😉
Bro my gpu does not connect to psu stilll i am facing the problem i have to 1050ti

Hello guys I recently repaste my Gpu and I thought I fucked up my gpu I went back and did all kinds of other shit and I finally found the issue with mine it was the 8 pin connector that connects to my gpu usually has two incase you have two graphics cards, well I plugged in the secondary one and it works now, so in other words use a different cable, mine had the secondary cable just hanging from the same cable and I just plug that one in
If this works you’re amazing
YOU'RE FUCKING AMAZING THANK YOU
Well... darn it, I have the same issue. I fire up Conan Exiles and after I enter the server I play on the screens go black, the fans on the graphics card speed up and can be heard from across the room, but the game is still playing. I can still hear it playing through my speakers but the graphics card has shut off the monitors. I have tried updating Windows 10 64-bit, and the drivers and software for my Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3gb but it hasn't helped. This started about a week or so ago. Sometimes I can play for hours but recently I can't even get into the game. Last night I took my PC apart, cleaned all the dust out and put it all back together again. I thought it fixed the issue because I was able to get in and play for about an hour but then it happened again. Now it constantly blacks out when I'm connecting to the game server. I am about to shut down my PC and try a few things. First, I will swap the cable that powers the video card. That's the poor man's solution... maybe. Second, if the first doesn't work then I'll drop in a different PSU (ya, I'm one of "those" people who just happens to have a spare). I will respond to my comment if either of these fixes the problem (assuming I can find this video again).
Hi. I have the same problem I just bought the pc. Did you figure this out ?
@@HOSSEIN_BADBOY Yes, it was the PSU. I replaced the old PSU with another and I haven't seen the issue in 12 days.
This is what exactly happened to my computer and I fixed this by opening and cleaning the PSU and change the GPU PCIe cable.
One thing to note at some computers doing these is because of the fans. Mine was just dirty so after cleaning, it suddenly worked.
i have same problem how u fix bro please tell me
Problem solved chenge your 8pin power connector
I'm facing this same issue on my GTX 1660s after changing psu , board and cpu what should be the reason
Same🤕 did you find any solution

My issue is my monitor goes completely black and my fans get really loud…can anyone help me with this issue it started yesterday

I also have the same issue my pc will go black screen without playing any games. But it doesn't has any problem without GPU it works fine when I removed GPU and connected hdmi to my mobo

So fix your problem or not ????????????????
My PC does the same even i am using google chrome after 30 To 40 mins
Have you fixed it ?
Psu is the problem. Don't listen to this fuck saying about gpu and drivers. The issue is lack of power.
Its not lol its broken gpu
Did you ever try a stress test on the gpu?
Same problem how do you fix this ?
Try to reinstall your driver. But first clean your driver using DDU
my pc is also doing this but it dosent black screen wh\ile playing a game my fan will just randomly go up and then it will go back down then it will go back up again i dont know the issue to this problem anyone have any fixes i could try i tried lowering my fan speed just a little didnt change it at all (my gpu is also getting hot) i just reset my pc and now it is doing this i have one game installed and that is apex legends. PLZ let me know
