That is a sweet oven build Steve! Can't wait for a slice of pizza baked in it.
Thank bud, I can't wait to have you guys over to make pizzas. I being very patient as I let it cure up.
I watched this when originaly posted, but then came across it again today so watched once more. I particularly enjoyed the story about the dogs guarding your home by walking around it frequently.
Nice kindling wood maker. I have one also. The oven turned out great
Yeah man. I love the kindling cracker. Thanks for watching Russ.
I love how the girls are the adventurous ones.😂❤😂 the two that look like duplicates of each other.

My fav part about that cat. Is his ONE white toe bean 😂😂❤
Lol! 😂😂 Ps. The swaying means it’s trying to mimic a leaf. Sorry for my nerdiness. 😜
Thank you, love you.
He’ll always remember how you came to see him on his special day
That would be wonderful.
😢 This was a touching video. It’s so moving to see that gang follow through on the commitment to their friend. This was an experience you will never forget.

Thank you, I will
Lol me just sketching in the background!😂 (Didn’t realize how much I talk in this short. Lol.)
Love hearing you.
Not sure where you live. I'd contact your local animal control or a wildlife rescue...
Thank you. I must admit I didn't think of that.
Very wise ideas!
Glad you like them!
Emerals Ash Borer. Look for places the bark is swelling.
No, I don't think so. I:m familiar with emerald ash borer its not that.
Gee Five ?
reverse my sentence
@@PrettyGoodLookin I got it but I have no evidence to suggest that.
Five Gee ?
My neighbor lost three trees very qucikly. It was strange.
I think that's the cicada damage where they lay their eggs before they die on the tree tips which drop off to the ground.
I agree. Than you for the comment.
Been seeing that same thing in N IL, too. Lots of tips broken off and hanging dead.
Love the bell idea! I have an old-fashioned triangle on my porch to call everyone in from the property, although people mostly use it to find me lol. Have a great day!
I totally forgot about triangles. They make a great sound as well. Thank you, have a great day as well.
It's amazing the things that just show up
Indeed it is. Thank you for your comment.
@@stevesundberg5956 and thank you for taking the time to notice these little surprises. I own a landscaping company and I find stuff like this all the time, and it always brings me so much joy
The large washer on rear wheel shaft goes on top, not underneath👍🏻
Thank you for the heads, its appreciated.
Poor Thriller we love you. RIP
Indeed.
Somebody buy this guy another dog
LOL, we have been considering it.
I've never seen your channel before, just randomly showed up in my feed too, but god bless you and at least you care about your animals <3 Most farm animals aren't so fortunate to get 1-on-1 care
Thank you for watching and commenting the kind words.
Be strong. I recently lost a dog that i got when i was 12. He was 12 years old when he died. He was having kidney problems and was so miserable at the last month of his life, couldnt walk well, was urinating constantly where he slept. When he died it was tough but i kept thinking that he lived a happy life without any problems and he finaly could rest and not be miserable.
Thank you for sharing. That's how we feel. We try to give all our animals a happy life too.
@@stevesundberg5956 Yep, they are so pure and innocent. I hate when people treat badly/abuse their animals.
Hi there! My Grandpa taught me how to make compost tea, he called it Liquid Gold. He was a WW1 veteran and always had the most amazing garden. His method was much the same but he would put a tight lid on the 5gal. bucket set it in the sunshine, and he had a hose-sized hole drilled in the lid so he could refill it as needed without us kids playing in it. I remember he used to joke that as a young man, he'd just pick the bucket right up and water right through that hole but as a 90-year-old man he kept it in a wagon and used a large ladle to dish it out. Good memories, Happy Gardening! :O)
Thank you for sharing. I'm in good company.
Why is this vid on my feed?? 😂😂🤣
I'm sorry =*( One of the huge downsides of owning animals. RIP Thriller ❤️
Than you,
Just recording life fucking wit it
I'm so sorry you lost Thriller, I have found that sometimes the learning curve is more like numerous switchbacks. You did everything you could with what you knew at the time, take care.
Thank you for the kind words.
Sow the Land has accomplished this task on their land. Rotational grazing is effective.
I will check them out. Thank you.
So sorry. He looked so cute in the videos. Hope his kids will have his sweet personality.
Thank you.
Hamilton Native Outpost, here on YT, talks a lot about how to use native grasses and forbes to fix the soil and build good forage for livestock. th-cam.com/video/afj4_ev2yY8/w-d-xo.html You're 100% correct in what you're doing. Putting down organic matter, even if that's the leaves that fall in Autumn, will make a world of difference to that compacted soil. I recommend starting with Switch Grass (Panicum virgatum) because that stuff can grow anywhere. And, as you noted, the deep-rooting nature of that glorious grass will really work a number on the hardened soil, breaking things up. As the steward of the land looking to build something that'll be of benefit to the future generations, don't hesitate to plant Coneflower, Lead Plant, Indian Grass and the like. The cattle will jump with joy over the selection of forage, as Hamilton Native Outpost has shown many times. And you'll be happier with the quality and size of your animals. We too often forget that the ecosystem is just that - a system. There are a million little interactions we're only now coming to understand, so any time we can work to rebuild what evolved to be there over thousands of years, that's a good thing and will pay dividends quickly. We might not understand how planting a Carex pensylvanica will help put weight on cattle, but if it's a plant that has been there in the open grasslands for the last millennia, we'd be remiss in not re-introducing it to the site. Those Purple Coneflowers might seem like they're just a pretty plant, but nature doesn't just do pretty. The deep tap root of Echinacia purpurea breaks up the hard ground, allowing the water and air to move through the soil biome, and mines trace minerals from deep in the ground, bringing it up to the surface where plants and animals can use them to their own benefit. All we can say for sure is that the ecosystem is a system and we need to try to work with it even when we don't understand how it's working.
Thank you for the very informative comment. I will look into your suggestions. Great info indeed.
