bro you litterly added an extra specimen in autonomous
@@jjophoven that is why it is messed up that has been fixed if you check the other videos
Are you sure it counts as a level 3 hang? You first must qualify for a level 2, but the robot can not be supported by any non-rung elements.
@@caffeiphile you do not have to have a valid level 2 accent the main thing that is looked at is that there is not contact with the match and the top rung at the same time. We have done this in composition
@RoboRangers-FTC oh my bad. Anyways, nice climb.
@yea try w game reveal made it seam like that but the team updates say differently
I was gonna worry about my team being the worst but I remembered the middle schoolers don’t even have a claw
Hello, I would like to ask you about some of your robot mechanisms. Do you use other social networks and please let me know the contact information! I hope you will respond soon.
Pretty clever! Be sure to make sure the robot is completely above the low rung to qualify as a LVL3 Ascent
@@PeytonYeung it is above the low runs
Hey guys, nice job on the hang! I was wondering, what slides do you guys use to hang?
We use the short viper slides from Gobuilda
what servos are you using to extend
Hi! We really like your robot. How long are the flat beams attached to your horizontal slides? Our team is working on a similar mechanism.
@@Microplastic64 like the linkage is
your drivers need a lot more practice, but everything else looks awesome! bot looks like a mini FRC chassis
Do you have the virtual emulator for the competition please?
@@moham3713 what
@ There is a virtual play to qualify do you have the site where we can play
@ we do not cause we have never heard of that
What slides do you guys use and do you cut them so they fit on the bot horizontally
@@Jsjrjekdjebek the small gobilda viper slides don’t remember the size
@@RoboRangers-FTClike the ones not already pre built like the singles?
@ yea just 2 single sets of the short viper alides
@@RoboRangers-FTC so what did you use to get them to move like did you do it by urself is there I guide and did you use something else bcs string does not work horizontally in our experience we only used iko slides before
@ there’s two linkages that’s ran by a servo
Hello, would it be possible to have a meeting with your team? Our team really likes the lift part with the chains and we would like to know how you built it
how long are your 2 bars?
@@pootis8346 what two bars
the one you guys use for your linkage
@ they are just two of the short viper slides goBuilda sells
I have a question about your robot, there are 3 rods for your outtake, one is your stationary bar, and one is for closing the claw, what is the third one on the right powered by that blue servo for?
@@kkenekii5778 at first we only have 1 but we realized that if we did not a a grip on both sides we would not be able to clip so we had to add it
Our robot's driving base moves not smoothly. But the robot in this video moves very smoothly, so how did you do that?
What a fantastic robot,we have the similar idea with you, would you like to arrange a meeting with us?We are beginners for FTC
Are you using roadrunner? I noticed you robot moves very quickly. I currently have the mecanumdrive code at 70 maxwheelspin. Did you guys do anything to make it go faster? (your autonomous is incredible by the way)
good luck at worlds
How do you guys stop the linear slides from falling down? We have the same setup as far as slides are concerned, just single sided with a super light kinda bucket for dropoff and ours still fall down from top level, we have to hold our button we have mapped for the slides up and it skips to stay up. Are you encoding your slides or just holding a constant power level?
@@ortega9115 we are having the slides run to a position and stay there using encoders and same going to any position
@ oh sick! Ill have to tell my team's programmers to try that, thanks!
Did you guys 3d print the claw or buy it?
@@RileyMathewson-e9x that are just parts from goBuilda
Hi, our team would like to know what is the material that is used for the claw?
@@TimmyPham-ed6ym it is just build a rubber feet
Hey guys, awesome robot. My team is new to FTC, I was wondering how you guys were able to work with the horizontal slides and if your intake in automated including the transfer to the vertical intake. Good luck guys
@@tanitolorunakinyemi3435 it is not fully automatic just in case we get a bad grab it set a middle point that our driver has to push a button to go to the next transfer all the way out
Could please have meeting with us to mentor us, please, we are struggling we are getting 6-9 points average
Yo how is yalls robot adjusting as it goes to take the clips from the wall
@@Darkcamera45 it is not adjusting it is just giving our human player prep time by hovering around an area so he can line it up correctly
@ I see thx for the clarification
Apparently, for level 2 accent you aren’t allowed to have lateral support with the bottom rung (we did the same thing but didn’t count during lm1).
@@vishufortnite8401 did you bring up the Q&A forums or the game Manuel team update 5
@RoboRangers-FTC it says in an update while ascending not ascended, believe this means you can use it to climb to level 3, but just using it at level 2 will not count.
@ well we should be going for level 3 by our next one so I hope it counts
Do you have any tips on learning pedropathing?
@@RaghavKaushik09 I don’t we do not use pedropathing
@@RoboRangers-FTC do you just use motor encoders? if so, do you use time based, rotations, etc.
@ it counts the rotations/encoder counts of the motors
@@RoboRangers-FTC thank you so much
dude this is sick. how'd you attach those linkages to the viper slides so they extend together horizontally.
@@douge9223 there are button head screws that attach through the slides snitch are attached at a 90 degree angle thing
damn bro those slides are so smooth. what are they? are they custom?
@@parallelfifth9505 no they’re just goBuilda viper slides they have just been broken in for 3 years
@@RoboRangers-FTC Ah got it. I'm wondering if the linkage system in the horizontal ones was intentional for speed or because of space constraints? It's quite clever and the slide seems to move along quickly.
@ it was for both reasons because we didn’t want to use a motor to power the horizontal slides and save it for a hanging motor servo is moving that little space can cover a lot with that long linkage
are those 312 rpm gobilda motors?
@@ryanyu3626 yes they are
How do your viper slides hold up the robot? My team uses almost the same lift method as you (two 4-stage viper slides) and we were having issues with the robot being too heavy to stay hanging
@@ryanvandenbosch7772 your slides motor have to be able to also
Great robot! Just make sure in auton your robot is out of the observation zone when the human player is in it. I noticed that the human player was still aligning the specimen with the robot while a wheel was in the robot. Great job though!!
@@JoshuaThe-xp2jb you are allowed to adjust the specimen as long as you were grabbing the outside part of the clips you are not breaking the plane of the field wall while the robot is in the observation zone check the q&a forum Q18 and Q145
Quick question, what servo/s do you use for the outake arm mechanism?
@@F4TELamont the ones on the claw are go builds torque servos and the ones that rotate over are axon max servos
Would Your team be open to meet with mine. We are another FTC team (RoboBoogie)
@@zekecohen298 we don’t have much time to meet with people what are yall wanting to understand more of
@RoboRangers-FTC my team is struggling a lot with conserving space as well as resources in terms of building... aswell we wanted to take a similar approach of using servos to power slides, and wanted to know if you can give a more in depth explanation on that
@ I can see what I can do and try to find a time around like 4:30ish to try and help yall out as much as i can
@RoboRangers-FTC what day would that be for? We primarily meet on Fridays, but Mondays and Wednesdays work as well... honestly, any day except sundays can work. we can always make time
@ i d in not know at the moment as I have to figure out my schedule next week but I think Wednesday probably it friday
what odometry are you guys using?
@@sohum5905 so we track the encoder wheel counts and place that on a coordinate plain and tell the robot to move to those coordinates and to do so with a specific heading
@ ahhh ok 👍
@@RoboRangers-FTC do you guys use roadrunner
@@sohum5905 no we do not

how did you make it work with huskylens
@@sk-mi1kb what do you mwan
The vertical raise is actually super useful for the vex game this year it was my initial idea and now I see it in ftc so def gonna work on it
what kind of slides are you guys using for the climb? My team is using gobilda 4 stage belt driven viper slides
@@JoshuaThe-xp2jb that is exactly what we are using
yall are so good

Hi, im on another FTC team, I was wondering if your team would be able to meet with mine... we had a couple of questions regarding your lifts and auto.
