@@cici12222222222222 We don’t ask people to do it because some people don’t feel comfortable with it and it can ruin their experience, but we do our best to educate our clients with what options they have, in the same way you would let your clients know what options they have on their actual wedding day (like how vendors let them know a variety of options they can do a first look, first touch, private prayer, letter reading, etc.)

@Dalton Young Weddings can you elaborate on the options you would give that would give them the idea on recording their first watching? I'm a videographer just starting out and I'm learning how to guide my clients

@@cici12222222222222 Sure, just before you deliver their film, let them know whatever they need to know about their video as normal, and also let them know that some people like to record themselves watching their film for the first time, as it’s something they can look back on to see how it made them feel the first time they got to relive their day for the first time. Just always be genuine with people, and don’t ask them or push them to. We want happy clients who are able to make informed decisions that fit them best, not us. Pushing it or asking it can lead to a bad experience for them feeling awkward when seeing their photo gallery or video gallery for the first time.
