We left Burkes Pass and continued our road trip to stay in the small town of Twizel. From here, we visited Lake Pukaki and hiked the snow covered Mount Cook.

We flew into Christchurch and after a few days stay, we drove to Burkes Pass. Burkes Pass was the nearest location to Lake Tekapo where we could find accommodation. This was the first stop on our South Island journey.

13 August 2020 was supposed to be our wedding day. Due to the current circumstances we had to postpone it to next year. We drive to Ras Al Khaimah for a staycation to celebrate our day.
