Trata-se de uma aliança Católica em prol da Caridade e da Verdade fundada em maio de 2010 por Henry Cappello em resposta às Encíclicas do Papa Bento XVI "Deus caritas est" e "Caritas in Veritate".
Submetida a agência de caridade do Santo Padre, Cor Unum, que significa "um só coração", Caritas in Veritate é uma confederação que reúne 38 organizações internacionais e movimentos laicais da igreja, e mais de 800 líderes em 84 países, com mais de 145.000 voluntários... Todos trabalhando em parceria para cuidar dos mais necessitados.
Caritas in Veritate International reúne agências de caridade e organizações missionárias que, trabalhando lado a lado, garantem que as atividades caritativas sejam sempre acompanhadas pelo anúncio do Evangelho.

Let him do his current job first. Caritas.is not performing well and achieving its objectives n many countries. Yah its over time to have a Pope from Asia but whether he can make it in about 7years time will depend on his cardinal colleagues to elect him. By then Tagle will be 71 years old if still alive and hope he is healthy and energetic then. But in the Vatican kitchens they will know what is chicken adobo and balut.
I think what Gods will then so be it

i am so happy listening to Cardinal Chito Tagle in the context of Vatican environment. he is "truly himself" as you find him in different venues, conferences, homilies and in various types/levels of his audience. he manifests an incarnational spirituality of integrating word and action. i am so proud to have known him as a friend.
I can see in him a Pope who truly is with his sheep, laughing and crying with his people.

Cardinal Tagle's reflections are always heart warming, he always manage to explain topics in a way that is simple, clear, understandable yet thought provoking. Always manages to make you laugh & shed a tear.
