All these Kazakhstan pissed me off. They compare their opera singer to everyone who sings that song. First, Dimash didn't write this song, so relax. Second, in all the lives where he sings, he gets the lyric wrong, pronounces certain words horribly, to the point where it becomes incomprehensible. Moreover, this song is not made for vocal demonstrations, it's a song with a strong lyric, a song which must be spoken, explained, delicately brought to the audience. Not a song where you have to shout words that you don't even understand, trying to get the high-pitched note to show that "I'm better than you, I'm going to get my 7 octaves in one song". We don't need that to know he has a special gift. Dimash had better learn and respect a language before coming to add questionable fantasies. Dimash's version isn't the best version of the song at all, simply because he doesn't know what he's singing. If he knew what the song tells, represents for the one who wrote it (Daniel Balavoine), the story after, the tragic end of all the people who sang it live... He would not allow himself to distort it like this. The best cover of the song is from Grégory Lemarchal, by far. This song is a farewell song, not a opera song, that's all. PS : it's not non-francophone people who will come and teach the French how to sing a song that is part of our national musical heritage.

Dude, why would you expect non french speakers to pay attention to the lyrics and french prounonciation ? To them Dimash OBVIOUSLY sang the best version, because they don't care about french culture, and honestly why would they ? Its just a song ! That's right : juuuust a song. Come on, be a sport and tell us Dimash's technique's is excellent ! His french singing is execrable, and the song might not be the best fit to show off his skills, but nonetheless, he made it his own and people love it ! Now, spoiling their fun wouldn't be a suitable behavior for a french gentleman doesn't it ?
