I really thought that the meeting was set up for her to be groomed and broken down so that she would be able to endure every dark side of politics and getting ahead no matter what. I thought each person that died represented the different crimes and dirty work that is covered up especially by politicians. For example...the black market organ trade by a homeless "nobody" ....and Big pharma with doctors killing off people or quotas for neglect on purpose.....not sure at what point would have been her breaking point I guess when it was her turn. I don't think that she should have died.... I think that should have been the point where all of that would have turned her from a compassionate and empathetic person to the person that he needed for her to be to continue. He needed her to be on board with him to endure and participate and secretly carry out whatever crime it took for them to win and stay winning. Her deep seeded insecurities and need for love and to be liked and approved of by her husband was her focus. Not recognition by just any1 or fame. But by bit each death would have made her have a cold heart and to blindly follow him no matter what. I honestly watched through the lens of grooming and psychological control.....I was brutally psychologically abused by my husband. So this movie held alot of that in it. They didn't go with it though. Could have been a bit deeper. Only person I wanted to live was the security guard though. 🤷
