Yes the NFL is a business and there are different businesses within that business. Perhaps the NFL has employed think tanks that study the behavior of Fandom? Perhaps the league wants to push that envelope to see how fans will react to certain situations? Because in the professional football business, the goal is to maximize profits, whatever it takes. The league knows exactly what they're doing. They want people to love their favorite teams and hate other teams. Root for, root against. Bet for, Bet against, it's all for profit because I guarantee the league is profiting from fans hating the chiefs, but they'll still hate watch to root against KC, ultimately getting those all important ratings up. It doesn't take much to fix a game as we can clearly see, it just takes a team of referees. If the Chiefs were really as good as people think they are, they would be blowing other teams away! I don't think that has happened all season, unless you want to say the Christmas game was a blow out, but that's the only game I can think of from the past season. With the Chiefs obviously winning all of these close games, with the refs ultimately deciding these outcomes, some folks just refuse to believe there's anything fishy going on. These are the same people that believe in everything that mainstream media says. But if you notice, mainstream sports media is finally admitting that "YES, the Chiefs do get some calls" Why? "Because they have earned it" because they've earned it??? How fair is that to the rest of the league? So this superbowl, if the Chiefs win this vs the Eagles, late in the 4th, because of a suspicious flag that benefits KC....I expect there to be a firestorm of fans, NFL players, celebrities, and even politicians to come out and call BS and demand changes because at this point of time, the NFL has become almost unwatchable. I will watch the superbowl, myself, but I'm only watching to see how bad the Eagles get screwed.

You can say that the second call wouldn’t have probably done much because it was first down but it was a HUGE momentum swing. Momentum is everything in these kinds of games, and with the refs constantly making calls for the cheifs and missing other calls *hip drop on schultz* it’s extremely demoralizing. The Texans were playing better on both sides of the field in my opinion. Special teams might have some issues but we should have won that game or it should’ve at the very least been closer. It just felt like the Chiefs always had a get out of jail free card.

Good show however I will have to give some push back to abandoning the run. The Falcons had only 3 possessions in the 3rd Quarter and the first was a run with a 1 yard loss followed by a 5 yard pass followed by a fumble. Then again in the 4th quarter with around 12 minutes run, pass, fumble. The next time the falcons had the ball was around 4 minutes in the 4th, now they’re down a touchdown which was the possession they used to tie up the game. So in reality there wasn’t time to establish a run because Washington had the ball the majority of the 2cd half.

It's definitely the least memorable championship team of the last decade. This is the first year when I ask other NBA fans to name who won the chip last year, they really struggle to remember because no one cared.
