The uncle has also has a guilt about commuting something bad. The open door symbolizes accepting the guilt and paying the consequences. The shut door is symbolic of wiping the even of off the memory. Anything inbetween is deadly. Being in denial is deadly.

My cousin is sensitive and she has dealt with sleep paralysis. She said she remembers when she was sleeping, she awoke to see a ugly looking old lady aka witch who was sitting on top of her chest and she could not move. The old lady said, you are mine and I am going to take you and my cousin yelled, no you are not, I am a child of God and I love Jesus. Eventually she was able to wake up, She has had this happen to her a few times. She even used to sleep with a picture of Jesus under her pillow when she was a little girl. She even sees an ugly old man that will appear out of nowhere. She said, once she was with a group of friends in someone's backyard and all of a sudden this ugly old scary man was standing in the corner laughing at her. She told none of her friends because she knew they would not believe her. She told me, now as adults that she never told us what she saw because she knew we would have made fun of her. And you know what, she is right. We would have because we were stupid young kids. She even had a dream of a house that was haunted that she knew her family as going to move to. She never saw the place and when a couple of years later, her parents bought a new house. It was the house she saw in her dreams.

The ending almost made me jump out of my skin.

The music sounds like a mixture of royalty free clips just cobbled together. There is no story here. No logical through line. Just a couple creepy guys wandering around mindlessly while some girl follows one of them around.

...i used to run in that park, every other day, for 8 years. I knew from the first scene. Perfect setting for a creepy movie, esp once you go off trail. Thing is, the plot of this movie has actually happened in that park. More than once.

Com' on folks, don't be so hard on the young woman: (1) If she had followed instructions as many here have suggested, then we'd have a one minute nothing happens short instead of almost 13 minutes. (2) What horror movie have we seen where all concerned follows all the rules? "You can visit every room in the house except the last room on the left on the third floor." Guess where we going in the next scene? (3) If told that to kill a zombie you must shoot him in the head, but instead you aim at the knee...well we got a movie going and a lot of fun. But If we got all snipers picking zombies off in the beginning of the movie shooting them in the head, then we 'll be eating all that popcorn at home.
