Bravi...Bravi...Alti Bravi....This beautiful, charming, and tuneful tale of Scotland completely captures you. The performers are first rate. Never mind that the staging and costumes are not traditional because after the first aria, Handel melodically captivates your heart.

Fantastic performance by all in this wonderful ensemble; many thanks for such a treat.

I always feel like dancing like nobody's watching, like a lonely lead dancer in center stage listening to this kind of music 🦹‍♂🧜‍♀

This is not just Handel's master-work of drama & music, it is one of a handful of the greatest operas ; unfortunately, in the case of this opera ... if there are not great singers who can take us back [ even just a little ] to 1724, there is no point ! Handel's masterpiece doesn't change ... the singers over the centuries have changed. We are not getting the same vocal instruments as the extremely lucky audiences of that Baroque night. The more we are reminded of that night ; the more we are reminded of the "singers" of today ... woe onto us for being born at the wrong f'ing time. There is no time-travel ! There is no god ! We will never hear the magnificent Castratri or the female singers who stood next to the great male singers and could cause some Castratri to be vocally envious. _WTGDMF‼️_

L'incontro di 2 Genii: W.A.Mozart e Lorenzo Da Ponte (nato Emanuele Conegliano). Il risultato...3 immortali capolavori! Ottima interpretazione supportata da una superlativa orchestra!

Uno dei più grandi musicisti di tutti i tempi, amico fraterno del più grande di tutti: Giovanni Battista Draghi detto Pergolesi. Leo è tra i massimi rappresentanti dell'incommensurabile e inarrivabile scuola musicale Napoletana, fucina inesauribile di Genii del pentagramma! Bravi i cantanti che interpretano Leo con grande maestria, tecnica e... pathos partenopeo! Eccellente l'ensemble!
