Hello everyone, I'm a 15 year old Train Spotter attending almost every train related event. If your a train lover than this channel is for you, you've come to the right place. I started my channel on February 24th 2022. I've been trying my hardest to make my content good for those who like watching. I've been in many cabs of all sorts of trains, such as 3801, R766, 3265, 6029, 8649, an XPT cab, Marjorie from RVR, 3001, Thomas the tank engine, CLF2, 2413, 3609, 44226, B 390, 1076, Sydney Trains H-set, 3526 , and an Endeavour cab.

9535, would that be a 90 class coal train there?
I’m not to sure if it was a 90 coal, but I assume just by looking at the wagons.

@@JDTrain I was staying out in Penrith for the weekend.
@@MSTV_2024 I expected that. Even someone as crazy as me probably wouldn't want to spend about 6 hours travelling between each day.
@@JDTrain 2 hours from Maitland to Sydney plus an hour from the edge of the city to central. I went by train though so it’s fine
@@MSTV_2024 Maitland to Sydney is actually about 3 hours. The train from Newcastle is 2 and a half hours plus about half an hour from Maitland to Hamilton

Was this filmed on the first of September and did an Endeavour come in onto platform 2 while the coal train was passing?
@@JDTrain no this was Saturday
@@MSTV_2024 Oh, it's just that I was on a train at Metford being passed by a coal train of similar speed.
J2 I believe has the PID upgrade, similar to the PID in the series 2 Waratah and some of the Oscar sets

@@MSTV_2024 We were waiting for R766 on the bridge on Maitland Vale Road but it was getting dark and I was wearing black clothes and the shoulders aren't particularly wide so we started looking around for other places. But then I looked on anytrip and saw the XPT near the bridge so we went back but we didn't get there in time.
Was there any of the crew there?
@@lincolnstrainvids Yeah. This was Friday afternoon 23/8/24 and they had 766 in steam prepping for the weekends picnic trains up to Dungog

1:28 I was there on Platform 1. I checked the video and there is a figure at the end where you would be. Which means I have seen you at some point although I didn't know it. I did actually hope I would run into you at some point because I am a 14 year old train spotter so I feel like we have a lot in common.

This is excellent with amazing editing. Next compilation, maybe compare R766 with 5917 or 3801 whistles.
@@aussiejohn5835 Capcut pro would’ve made this better. Next vid like this won’t be for at least a year depending on how many steam locomotives I film. I’m thinking of trying 3526 next
