I have disabled firewall also from both Linux server & window. Linux server IP/Host ping is perfect but tnsping or connection is failed. Video is good and explanatory but interviewer ask even more in deep about how it started ASM first and then CRS. So you can more talk about gpnpd profile which plays vital role 😊

I created the ova file and imported it. all good up to this step. When I try to start the eBusiness VM machine, linux does not get loaded - it take me in emergency shell mode. Any idea where it may have failed? I am using external hard disk to store VM files as my laptop doesnt have much storage.

If i have upgraded my database to 19.25 and i want to DEINSTALL the old 12.1.0.2 software should the oracle home on the host be set to 12c home before i execute the 12c_HOME/install/deinstall ??? NOTE: 19C DB is up & running on the host.
