Hi. Keep up with the great videos. I have a small issue. I’ve noticed a small oil leak on the threads of the power valve adjuster not the power valve outer cap but the place where you screw it you think it’s the oil oring? Also a video explaining and teaching how to adjust the chain would be appreciated. Thank you.
How does the oring look?
@ haven’t checked. Only see from outside. Always a small leak. Is it normal when tighten it it seems loose?
The elusive wild trail turkeys!
Was questioning if this was actually Tea until :35:17 :)
I would rather have the kyb re valved than the sachs on the rr x pro
That’s great audio! 😂😂
thinking about doing this for this upcoming one. Looks like some good riding
You should, it is always an amazing time!
gnarly downhill.
Do you map out any of your FRO rides? Would love to find more single track down there
I was in the B-C 💪💪🤝
Glad you came out for the ride! What bike were you rocking?
@EnduroWiki my name is carlos was the red and blue honda 250crf 2024
Hey man. I'm curious how you came to the CR7E plug. My research shows its a hotter plug than an 8 series. The internet also says the "temp" refers to the insulator length and its correlation to dissipating heat. A hotter plug does not dissipate heat as well so it runs hotter. I've fouled a second set of expensive AF plugs and am eager to try out the ones you suggested. They fouled at idle so I'm going down to a 40 pilot as well.
Trial and error, it fit the thread size and length. Proof is in the 30+ flawless hours ive had since making the switch. Hotter metal will also burn off oil before it will let it stick and fowl out from my understanding. Lots of keyboard warriors out there, buy a set and see for yourself!
Ill backtrack little and admit the dealership gave me the wrong reference material for my year. I think it took an 8 series plug like the previous models. I realize "internet" is generally. Specifically i read about plugs on several manufacturer and distributor websites. At least the Internet warriors were in house! I've settled on 38p, 168m, NECJ 3RD. It's its best yet. If I throw in the CR7E plugs ill try and remember to report back. It might be worth noting for the audience that you can not remove the plug connector tips from the MR7BI plugs. Users who have the CR7E in their riding bag will need to source the tips sooner than later.
Why the fffing background music? You really dream to be radio DJ so much? Why not a quiet forest ambience?
DELIVEROO
I have 30 hours on mine. jetting was really fat for pnw coastal riding and i fouled plugs at elevation in California. I Re-jetted and geared down its way way better. The carb bowl was leaking and adjusting the float from 6mm to 8.5mm did not solve it. I now have a loop in the bowl vent and my mileage has doubled. No more fuel spilling on steeps. The ergos are cramped for a tall guy even with low/back pegs, rolled bars and 15mm clamp risers. The plastics are not their strong suit. the selected hardware is embarrassing compared to a japanese bike. Im not sure ill keep it to be honest. I will say they are super popular up here in Oregon though.
What do you mean loop? I also spill a lot of fuel
Thanks. Just burned the starter motor up on my 2020 300rr after a bad crash. Starter button stuck on and kept the starter motor turning the motor while the bike was in gear while I regained my composure LOL...
2020 Honda CRF250R part look up The correct Honda part # is 31201-KPC-D51 (A) & 31202-KPC-D51 (B) If you buy 2 of the (A) part #, one will be backward.. it will work, but the mounting tab for the brush will be in the wrong direction. I hope this helps.. 🙏 A little more indep would have been a little more helpful! KTM 17-22 300, brushes will work also..
80hrs on my 24’ 300 RACE EDITION. Countershaft seals are the only issue. This bike is bulletproof and has been amazing. Still on the stock spark plugs.
Legit the countershaft seals have been a beta issue for the past decade, but it just means free chain lube!
40 hrs on my 2023 Beta 300 and the counter shaft seal is shot.
@@TheKitchenTechnician On beta's replace the countershaft seal and top up the fluids. It is pretty common and very cheap and easy to do.
If you can't build your own house, you're stupid
Is this trail on onX off-road?
Are you seeking divorce? The enchanted forest right out of the gate? Ya love to see it 🤣
Well that's actually mid way through the day, we did the big rocky hill first really. She truly digs hard trail, I couldn't talk her out of it if I tried!
Have had mine since January. Been bullet proof. Lots of trail ridden. And been racing hares scrambles and sprint Enduros. My spark arrestor screen plugged once. It ran crappy then.
Random question but do you know if you can stick a 23 race edition head on the 24 models and get rid of the dual spark plug? Assuming you can just remove the additional coil. Everyone I ride Hurl with on the 24th have all been having overheating issues, I was thinking about getting a 24 stepping up from my 23 but my 23 has never overheated. I’m just starting to look into what all is involved if that were the case.
We have not given a try to replace the head, but the idea has been on my mind. 95% sure the spark coils are in parallel on the ECU output but going to put them on the O scope and have a look see.
@@EnduroWiki Thanks!
Please show the ppl how to get to these trails, I ride up there, but everything is so rocky and rough.
Rocky and rough? Sounds terrible! 😂
We used to have alotnof trails very similar to these but in the last year sxs’s have made all our single track their width double track now 😢
Loving my 2024 250 rr race 😎
My buddy and myself cut the yellow/green stuff in. Glad to see it’s getting burned in!
hows the suspension revalve working.what did they change
They gave it a much softer ride and not really sure what their secret recipe is but hands down it is the best riding bike I have put through the paces of being a daily bike. It feels like it responds faster to the terrain without over reacting.
My 24 300 rr race edition has been a awesome bike so fat. Way better bike then my 23 300 sherco 300. My beta does not have that emobilization next to the clutch lever tho.. 🤷♂️. I got it in January.
We promptly removed it as Beta was recommending it would have issues with battery draining.
Those trails look so smooth on video! Been riding them for at least 15 years... even help make some back in 2009! There really getting rough now! ! Hope you thumb is ok.
who the hell ordered this chaos right off the bat
I dont know but I love it!
About to find out, picked up a 24 yesterday
It is an amazing bike, very capable right out of the box!
SHE CAN RIDE.
23:20 - cheater!
I know! I thought I made a wring turn and didn't want to get separated. Problems with running trail you've never been on before.😅
Nicely done!
Nice ridin
Is this Aoaa or fro how the single truck there
Neither but very similar terrain. FRO > AOAA
Thanks for bushwacking through those elephant ears leafs. hopefully it won't be as bad for us this week.
Wow! Awesome ride and trails. It's a haul for me to come down there from NY and it seems like there is always a race or something else I should be doing. So far I've rode Ashland North, Durty Santa at Locust Gap and a event at Burma, but none of those were as good as those trails. Nice stuff 👍
Legit some of the most diverse terrain on the east coast in a small area. We have it good down here aside from the local economy. or lack there of.
Where did you guys ride? Tower city? We rode Burma a couple of weeks ago and can’t wait to ride some more single track.
Ashland North
Making it all look easy, especially the 1 damn rock that always gets me.
I almost stalled out on it, last time I was on this trail was 2020ish, forgot about the two rocks, the headwall one made me remember it though!
Making it look easy. Nice video and great ride.
Thanks, fun day out, just having a good time!
I love how you keep blaming me lol, this was a George ride! 🤣
I caught plenty of guff the last ride I led ;-)
Love those trails. 👌
Great stuff, could use some light trimming but afraid it will get cheater lines installed, as it is mint at the moment.
Can you explain the difference between the large adjustment springs? In the bike is the red outer adjustment spring and a white auxiliary spring, and with the bike includes a green outer adjustment spring. I picked up an axillary spring kit and I understand the colors there but not for the large outer adjustment springs. The green outer adjustment springs appears to be softer than the red outer adjustment spring. So confused....
Tried the green outer adjustment spring. Appears to be MUCH lighter than the red outer adjustment spring. Seriously aggressive now. Had to back in the adjustment screw to add more preload. Wow, the green adjustment spring is the way to go. Kept the white axillary spring.
Green is the stock one or aftermarket?
You’re on the absolute wrong bike for this type of slow riding. It’s a race edition for a reason. Should have went with the RR that comes with a way softer suspension for weekend warriors. Race edition is meant for hard core fast riding and hard enduro comps.
Looks like a cluster @uck
What did you think of the new alternate starting at the 3:10 mark in your video?
Loved it!! Woulda been awesome to go down and back up the hill. The guy on the t7 with a passenger was the real hero on it
@@Ferraiolo_1 Cool. A couple buddy and I set that one up and cleared it before the ride and we were looking for some feedback. Unfortunately I was unable to attend this weekend since I had family obligations
@@TheRealglass-kp9wythat one and the added little hill climb section near the snack stop, and the little longer trail before the snack stops were all pluses!
@@Ferraiolo_1 Did the guy on the T7 make it to the top?
@@TheRealglass-kp9wy yep! After I passed him on that log, he was right behind me shortly after at the top
blessed with ST!!
Excellent camera work! Great sound! Very nicely done. I'm not a bark buster guy but I do enjoy watching different installs and it sure makes it nice when the videos are professionally done. Great show.
Thanks the Black Magic 6K, and Canon R5 make is look good!
What trail head is this?
Private lands unfortunately.
