* Mallika Organics is a non- profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of organic farming practices.
* Dr. Mahesh Babu.J, M.D;D.M is the founder and is a renowned senior interventional cardiologist.
* Pesticides are used in the production of the vegetables we eat on a daily basis.These, in our opinion, are the leading causes of the increased disease burden in the society.
* Organic farming has been a traditional method of agriculture in India for centuries.It’s goal is to create healthy, high-quality food that contributes to preventive health care and overall well-being.
* Organic foods provide numerous benefits, including enhanced taste, flavour, and nutrition. It is a natural complement to a healthier lifestyle and strengthens the immune system, preventing health concerns associated with the use of commercially processed foods.
* We, the Mallika Hospitals team, decided to pursue organic farming and spread the world about its advantages.
This video focuses mostly on installation of drip irrigation system at Mallika Organics farm land.
We started working on this project in 2020 and spent significant time on fencing, soil testing, PH testing, Irrigation(bore well & Drip lines), ploughing, Jeevamrutham preparation, landscaping, adding manure to the soil and other tasks.
The team acquired fruit plants from Kadiyam, Rajahmundry, India, and planted 109 different varieties, including Jack fruit, Gauva, Anjeer, Papaya, Mango, Black berry, Amla, Dragon fruit, Water melon,Musk melon,Sapota, and Citrus family members, all of which luckily survived the climate.
We planted vegetable seeds such as Brinjal, Lady finger,Tomatoes,Mirchi,Cabbage,Cauliflower,Carrot,Radish,French beans, and Creepers like Bitter guard,Bottle guard,Cucumber,Snake guard. Major varieties of leafy vegetable seeds were sown.
My friends Raziuddin and Bala Krishna garu, as well as our Mallika team, led by our general manager Mr.Sulthan, OP manager Mr.Ramesh, Mr.Ashok, Mr.Venkatesh, Mr.Omar, Mr.Baganna, and Mr.Venkat, were instrumental in making this project a success.
