Your video was truly beautiful and inspiring. As a fellow creator, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Sub and 👍3
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Agreed!
Birmingham, Birmingham. The greatest city in Alabam. You can travel cross this entire land, Ain't no place like Birmingham.
It's a good place to live.
Been on high way many times in fall
How's the color in fall?
I’ve started doing these kind of videos like a week ago, not my most popular videos ever, but they were fun to make, great vid btw! 😊🎉🎉
Thanks!
Lol Growing up my Grandparents homesteaded where Rocky Mtn Nation Park is today. We would spend summers at the cabin camp fishing and having fun. Berthold pass back then was a dirt highway, then turned into one lane paved. 5 kids sitting on the tailgate of the Pontiac wagon with our legs hanging out is how we rolled.. Colorado was so assume back then, compared to today.
Yep, everybody wants to go enjoy Colorado these days, but you can't really blame them, it's so beautiful out there.
Warlight/warzone is calling, and you must go...
lol, I've been tempted a few times! I've been working on these videos from my trip for 4 months now and still not finished.
th-cam.com/video/YPnIEkZRYjk/w-d-xo.html Just posted another video, only about 10 - 15 to go.

I suppose I can jump back in on a limited basis!
Awesome video. Wanted to see this, but it would have been an hour out of our long day in the car already. Hopefully we get back there to see this.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video!
Colorado is so beautiful!
Totally agree!
One of the most beautiful places I've visited. You did a great job of capturing that beauty.
Thank you glad to share the views!
❤❤❤ really cool!🎉🎉🎉
Thanks!
Will be there in one week...thanks for the lay out info.
Have a great time!
Appreciate the work put into this video. Very nice.
Thanks!
That drive through the canyon is epic!
Yes, Gunnison has some of the best!
this is my favorite video of yours this year
Thanks! It's a beautiful place to film.
Whoa. 😮
Agreed!
Very cool! Reminds me of Trummelbach Falls in Switzerland.
Yes, it definitely is similar!
I drove that one in 2012.
I see you have a lot of epic videos in the area as well!
@@gowestusa8959 I did a good deal of hiking and backpacking there.
Looks like we’re in the same general area. I’m in Lake City today, headed to Silverton tomorrow and then Moab.
Awesome, wish I was still out there! I went back in June. Silverton to Ouray (Million Dollar Highway) was pretty epic and Moab area is amazing.
@@gowestusa8959Ah, I thought maybe you were posting in real time. Looks like you had an epic trip.
Yes, Colorado and North New Mexico were beautiful. I'm working on the Million Dollar Highway videos now which is Day 7 of 10. I take lots of footage so I'm on quite the delay.
Thank you, hope you gonna like it !! Keep sharing great content with me and vice versa 👌 ✨️
Great!
Very nice video and beautiful landscape!! Thank you for sharing!! Done myself few videos for my travel channel if you want to have a look at.....thank you!! You got a subscriber!!
Thanks! Yes, I'll check out your travel videos.
You are welcome!! Hope you gonna like it!!!
amazing; thanks
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.
Beautiful! How long was this hike I'm just curious also where to leave from if I put it in my maps do I just type in Jemez Falls trailhead?
It's only .25 miles from the parking area to the falls. Yes, use Jemez Falls Trailhead in Google maps. The turn off of New Mexico highway 4 is at the Jemez Falls Campground sign.
@@gowestusa8959 thank you!
Love the video! Leaving a like and sub! Keep up the good work! Almost to 500!!

4:37... upper right. Square cut outs? 4:45... upper left. Windows or framing? That desert is wild. I've driven through several times. Oh, the mysterious. We killed off all the historians of that knowledge.
Excellent observation! I had not noticed those features that look crafted not naturally formed.
Are there any National Forest campgrounds near Valles Caldera?
Per the Valles Caldera website, there are camping opportunities in the neighboring Bandelier National Monument and Santa Fe National Forest, several of which are less than 15 minutes from Valles Caldera's main entrance. www.nps.gov/vall/planyourvisit/eatingsleeping.htm
Have you climbed Wheeler Peak?
No, not yet. It was another 4 miles and 2,000 additional feet on top of having hiked Sand Dunes National Park that morning so I just enjoyed doing the lake. Maybe next time. You hiked it?
It doesn’t look like there’s a lot of people. What day of the week did you go?

Thank you for providing the rough time/month season that you took the video. I often watch videos to scout out a place I want to visit and I am always curious about the month the video was taken so I can prepare accordingly. Clothes, gears and stuff. So it’s really helpful to me that way.
You're welcome!
It’s great you included the vantage point from the top going below.
Thanks! There are 2 hikes past the top as well. Inspiration Point Hike th-cam.com/video/MMkMlGwl7Zw/w-d-xo.html and Midnight Falls Hike th-cam.com/video/MolINayO49g/w-d-xo.html
Sometimes I am afraid of heights especially when looking through the stair steps. Does this affect people who are afraid of heights?
Yes, it will definitely impact you if you are afraid of heights. That's not to say it can't be done. I'm afraid of heights so to make it up I took some time to mentally prepare, went very slowly, and held on extremely tightly. It's well worth the effort for the views. It's even scarier coming down but again take your time and hold on tight, one step at a time.
Did the guy in the blue shirt up the stairs when you were about to start going up make it? 😅 I want to do this but I am not sure if I can make it.
Yeah, he made it as did everyone else that tried it. Take a friend that isn't afraid of heights and have them in front of you going down, and behind you going up, that will help too. No question it's pretty scary though. But, the only way to conquer your fear is to face it head on, again the views are well worth it.
Whoa. That's what I call a truly scenic drive!
Here's Pike's Peak, another very scenic drive. th-cam.com/video/tpP-2ageE20/w-d-xo.html
Nice ride! Couple of months ago I visited south west Colorado for the first time and totally blown away.
Thanks! I did Southwest CO as well, just haven't uploaded that part of the trip yet. Mesa Verde and Million Dollar Highway were epic!
Colorado has some of the best backroads in the country.
Definitely found that out on this trip to CO & Northern NM. Epic!
