It will drop your idle down. The 4.6 has a problem with "hanging idle" on the manuals so when you shift it keeps the idle from dropping to make the transition to the next gear smoother. I like my idle lower and I like it to drop more between shifts. Just grab a bag of 1/2" copper pipe end caps from Lowes and drill a small hole in it and put it inside the IAC rubber tube. You can also get an IAC blockoff plate off ebay. If it doesn't drop put in another one that has a smaller hole. If it drops too much and doesn't want to idle then you made the hole too small and it needs to be bigger. Hope that helps and explains it bro.

I'm 6-4 and I fit fine bro. And I like to sit pretty close. I did have to fix the recliner mechanism so watch out for that.

I originally had my stock mounts, just had to drill a couple extra holes and make sure you get some grade 8 hardware. I wanted the seats lower to the floor so I got mounts off amazon.

Actually pulled them back out and ordered brackets...worked much better...three months later snapped the recline mechanism on the driver seat...pulling them out for fixed back seats next month or two.

Yeah eventually just swapping this one for an SR or BBK. I know they don't add shit for HP but the throttle response is nice.

I did the IAC mod with the half inch pipe end with the whole drilled in it, it dropped it but not as much as I would like, I think the issue with that mod is you're plugging the pipe going into the IAC instead of putting a restrictor plate between the IAC and the TB. So, I am going to order a restrictor plate and see if that drops it down some more. Still idling at 1,100 which sitting in traffic is just annoying.

Haha hell yeah, makes sense as the car actually came from Florida. I can't wait to move out of the county that Charlotte is in, all the outside counties have super limited inspections. Lucky I found a guy who takes care of me and all our deleted and tinted vehicles.

They are manual seats…I swapped over the power base from the stock seats. Eventually I switched them back over to manual to get the base to sit closer to the floor.

NO WAY!!! Well...the kid that bought it trashed it. I fixed the pulleys, the alternator, the battery wiring, the stereo, the seats, the crooked steering wheel, the hood pins, the brakes, and the window tint. When I bought it I couldn't even test drive it, the battery was beyond dead, and the calipers were leaking fluid so it had no brakes. Funny I always wondered if it was a repaint! Now we know!

I just redid the hood pins with smooth flip up clips. I promise it is getting TONS of love now...I did take it sideways coming into my parking lot this morning...so fun love...and lots of new parts!

To screw them to the floor, I just reused the torx bit bolts form the stock seats. To screw them to the brackets, they came with bolts for that but I didn't trust them and they were too long so I went and got stainless grade 8 hex cap screws from Lowes.

Thanks! These are actually pretty comfy as far as racing seats go, I've been in some high end seats that were super stiff and hard and not fun to ride in. I will say for sure, these are 10x better than the Summit Racing seats, those are garbage. I kind of figured I could take a chance on these, one just to shoot video content for the channel, and two I knew if they weren't great I could just pull them out and sell them as brand new on facebook market and then get better ones, but honestly I like them. If I was an inch or two shorter and 20 pounds smaller they would really be perfect but I am a bit bigger than the average person so it's ok.

Seriously! I am editing my window tint video still...I just tinted the explorer. I really want to try my hand at doing the windshield...just a really light 80%...we will see maybe. But yeah window tint laws are the dumbest thing.

Bro I didn’t even put them up for sale or free…they were trashed. They went in the dumpster. For real not worth saving. I actually shopped for stock cobra seats for a long time but I’m not paying $1,000 for used 20 year old seats.

Yeah that's what I'm doing now they are crazy expensive I'm about to replace the leather for the front seats and that's around $1000 I'm not sure what to do I can't find a good replacement seat anywhere

YES! I was able to use the power before getting the brackets. But I didn't like how high the seat was...it was about the same as stock and I wanted the seats to sit lower and I felt it would be more secure bolted to the brackets.

HAHA! RIGHT! I have an F250 that also would not pass inspection for multiple reasons, I have a really great shop I take the truck to but they don't do inspections, I stopped by in the mustang asked them if they had a guy that did car inspections and sure enough they did. Funny thing I didn't know was that I don't even get emissions tested as it's older than 20 years now! But my window tint and the stripe across the windshield and just being obscenely loud, all causes failure. But now "I've got a guy"! As for the seats, yeah I'd love a set of corbeau's or nicer but I didn't feel like paying $800 or more for seats. These look nice and yeah you can't beat em for the price.

They are whistler SK1 wheels. Very similar to the CCW wheels. Previous owner put them on. I love them. Only issue is on the fronts the center cap won't stay on because the Ford dust cap sticks out too far. I know some guys just take the dust cap off which is what I might do.

How much did you get the GT for? 60k miles one owner sounds super nice man. You can hold onto that for a decade and have fun with it and sell it for more than you paid for it. The well kept new edge mustangs are starting to appreciate in value...soon the market will be similar to really nice well kept fox body. But yeah the stock seats are just no good. A cobra (brand not the car) seat is damn nice but the price tag is too. For the money these are well worth it. For the brackets...do not make your own bracket...there is a link above with the brackets I used from amazon...they are thick 1/4" steel and heavy duty...use those. You won't be able to use the power base but save it for when you sell the car so the next owner can put it back to stock if they want to. You will have to drill new holes in the bracket but that's easy just measure good and make sure you don't put the holes too far toward the door like I did. I don't want to tell you yes and then have you get these and not be happy...but...I think they are just slightly softer than a corbeau or cobra or sparco seat...but you are not going to sink into them like a stock seat. Stock seats are just too damn soft because if they were as stiff as a racing seat than "normal people" would complain to the car maker. I like these. I think they are more comfortable than a stock corvette seat. I had a solstice GXP and those seats are similar to corvette seats and they were AWFUL. For me I jus thought if these were trash I would just resell them on facebook market so I took a chance. Oh and I have sat in the summit seats and I think they are trash...these seats are nicer, I think these are better than summit seats, but still they are racing seats so they won't be super soft. If you can get a pair of newer comaro seats they look like these and are pretty soft. But for the money these are a good buy. Thigh bolster is a bit narrow for me but if you are under 220 pounds and under 6 foot 4 you should fit better than I do. Best of luck brother!

Actually I have not. I drive the car once or twice a week and so far these have held up great. Switching from the seat mount brackets I made to try and use the factory power, over to the brackets I got off amazon, took a lot of the flex out. Still some flex in the seat back, that's the bracket on the side of the seat. I have a few more projects to take care of first so this got pushed down the priority list a bit.

Is it possible to cut the end links for temporary use you think?? mine are brand new and I have the bump steer kit from team z, I wanted to do install this weekend and order the lowering sway bar links and put them in when they come in..
