And another thing, when you open the Hey You, I Love Your Soul album cd, and you go to the “Thanks” section, on the Skillet thanks area, you can see that the first person that shows up is Jesus Christ, so I don’t wanna hear any of that “Skillet denies Jesus” BS

Great video! I cannot believe this. I accidently stumbled upon a different video accusing Skillet of not being Christian, so I am now watching video like these to create my own video in preparation. Skillet IS Christian. There should never be any question.

Skillet is one of the biggest deceptions in Christian music. First off, look at their “Awake” album, it’s a mummy that has one eye open, just like you see all over Hollywood. This is known as the ‘Eye of Horus’, Horus is an Egyptian god, obviously not of God. Secondly, the song “Monster” is clearly describing a demon, razor sharp teeth, claws, “it was my soul it was my heart”, “nobody can hear me scream”. Anybody who has ever experienced spiritual warfare could tell you that. There are so many other examples as well. A lot of these major label fake Christian artists are owned by their labels to produce certain music that is appealing to the flesh but that does not glorify Jesus whatsoever, which is the whole point of being a Christian in the first place. I know they have tons of fans, and they even call themselves “pan-heads”, sounds like a cult by the way, but at the end of the day are you really glorifying Skillet or are you glorifying Jesus? I know the truth hurts, I’ve seen them 3 times live and used to be a fan, until I realized how their no different than a regular secular rock band. I know people will say “don’t judge, preach love like Jesus did”, but that’s a huge misconception with Christianity as well. When Jesus first started his ministry the first words he said were “repent, for the Kingdom is near!” He didn’t preach love initially because he knew how many people were being led astray. One last thing, the devil is not going around with horns and a pitch fork, he’s disguised as something that your flesh can’t deny and something sweet and innocent that claims the name of Jesus. Don’t worry, there are many other so called “Christian” artist that are wolves in sheep's clothing as well. Seek God first, draw near to him and you will learn to discern a lot of these artists. Like I said I used to love them as well until this revealed to me.

Wow this guy's thoughts I think are really messed up he's definitely confused and does not understand this band. He needs to do better research. How can u even compare them to these other bands. He's just turning everything around in his own head. This is one of the hardest working bands I've ever seen talking about Jesus all the time. There awesome he needs to reframe HIS system Stop judging!! Look into ur own closet first. So what... They look different there still sharing the Gospel that's what is important I think they look awesome!! Thx for sharing 👍🏻

Thanks for making this video, Skillet are one of my Favourite Christian Rock Bands. The “Skillet denies Christ” video was just clutching at straws and taking and took A lot! Out of context. Jesus deliberately surrounded himself with Sinners, which is what Skillet does with these other bands who aren’t Christian and playing Christ-centred God honouring music to people who wouldn’t normally hear or be open to The Message of Jesus.

Seth Morrison is an anchoring rock for Skillet, and a solid master guitarist. The addition of Seth was perfect for my favorite band. God placed these four people, (five including Tate), together for a reason. That being to bring the message of Jesus to the genre of music that is so very, VERY lost. Hard rock / heavy metal. THANKS Skillet!! You are thee best. I love you ALL!! : )

Thank you so much for making the effort to record this. It touched me in a very personal way. Seth is a great guitar player and a great guy just in general. I would make the argument that he is the best guitarist in Christian rock right now.

Thank you so much "PanheadProblems". It hurt me so much to see the videos that "GodSeesIt" has been doing. I grew up with Skillet for 13 years and have been a Panhead for 7. Been to 14 Skillet related concerts, met them 4 times. I'm also an Assistant Christian Preschool Teacher, never had a boyfriend. I'm not perfect by any means, but liking Christian rock doesn't make me a fornicator non believer destined for hell. Thank GOD I don't have to be up to human's standards. That would be exhausting, because no matter what you do, people will look down on you. Some people call me too Christian, and others not enough. But I am Awake and Alive in Christ! <3

I love skillet

everybody worships Jesus in there on way if u don't like skillet don't listen to them and if they ain't Christan why do they do Christian tours and festival. it call Christian rock not slow church hymns. if u been to a concert u would understand they talk about jesus. and the reason they sometimes do mainstream show is so they can reach those people as will. sorry but I hate when people say things about my band when they don't know nothing about them. the bible said not to judge.

Skillet bring me back to the God. I was so exhousted from my shortcomings, that I was sure God must hate me forever and there is no chance for me. I lost my faith and started to look for another spiritual way. Than I heard some songs - Monster and Sometimes and it was about me and my feelings. And it was real. I think the songs are about John´s own feelings. Then I heard Awake and Alive, Hero, Battle Cry, Savior and many others. And I´m sure he has a hope, he believes in Jesus, he fights. So I told myself - If he can have hope and believe in God´s mercy, I can have hope too. It bring me back to Bible, Jesus and God. Skillet are 100% Christian band, the best missionaries of Christ I have ever met. I believe the God himself leads their ways to people who are lost and need to find The Hero.

What makes u think that they aren't followers of Jesus do u know them personally or is it cause it's not how u worship everybody is different in how we choose to worship Jesus, its up to us so don't go and say things about people u don't even know, we all have the right to worship however we please whether it's traditional or through something like rock music as long as we get the message of Jesus then what's the problem we still learn the ways of Christ but in a different way its part of the world now and won't stop because a group of people don't like them its here now so either get used to it or leave this planet because it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I tried to look at the comments. None. Huh, I honestly thought there'd be more. But this video. Bless it. I love it, spreading so much truth, even if it is midnight right now and I'm typing this on my tiny mobile phone in my bed. This video spread so much faith, put so much meaning into the skillet band that I really didn't think could've come. I've got so much faith in God, I believe in skillet, they've come a long way. And as I continue to type the, crying my heart out from faith, I want people to see this video. Everyone needs to see this. Everyone
