Yeah that's right they are used to secure seats with the brackets and wheelchairs with special straps, I had considered trying to sell but they aren't coming out in great condition. Mostly because I'm getting fed up and snapping them haha 😆

Hello mate, sorry to hear about your slave cylinder. What model and engine have you got, if its 1.9 tdi its definitely doable without removing entire clutch.

It's a 2.5tdi, I'll have to take the clutch off, the slave cylinder is indeed hidden in there it seems. Well, new clutch and flywheel it is then ;)

Hello mate. This is what my clocks would do. Temp would either stay cold or be boiling hot on gauge and fuel just kept going up and down. Or not moving at all. The cap replacement sorted it for me mate. 👍💯

Hello mate , theres loads of space for the handbrake. The seats are genuine vw parts , so theres no issue with fitment. Hope this helps

Sounds like a pulley issue mate, dont think a new belt is going to help..

@valhallavw it turned out that my mechanic may have less tighned the pulley which resulted in the belt almost slipping off.

@streambhai9444 I've done that. That's why I triple check everything now. Better to be safe. Glad you got it sorted.

Sorry for the delay in replying, I believe they are best to check with your motor factors though as mine is a mish mash of old t25 parts as its on a crossover year

Would obviously depend on the clocks you have mate. But it's worked on mine and a lot of others. You'll need to remove clocks and see what you got. There are other options depending on clock pcb pattern glad you found video useful, let me know if I can help. 🤙🤙

Hi mate. Sorry for the late reply. Vw have a habit of putting whatever they like in the dash assembly lol. Well they do when it comes to mine. Mine was in a changeover year so I have allsorts of random parts on mine. Once you get the back off you will be able to see. The capacitors are relatively cheap to buy. And in either case you will be needing a soldering iron and some fluxed solder. 🤙🤙

Hello mate. I'm not 100 percent certain, however the bench seat is an available option in the t5 so I would presume the bolt layout etc will be similar. Let me know how you get on. Be interesting to know🤙🤙🤙

Mate I know where you're coming from. I often think mine would have been easier to just take out engine and refit new one properly, I've spent 2 years chasing and mending bodges from the previous owner. Saying that wouldn't be without it though lol. 🤙🤙🤟
