Thank you for watching. Hope you enjoyed this video! I recently found a pair of old pants and decided to cut if off and make it a pair of shorts. The fabric is very high quality and I really like the pattern, so I made a mini drawstring bag out of it. Since the pants were perfectly sewed, it saved me a lot of time and steps. do you put extra layer in it? I'm sorry I just don't know how to hide the back of my embroidery because if I don't put layer, it looks ugly from the inside. Also, I'm afraid it will loose the string
yes I did. I glued a small piece of fabric to cover the loose ends :)

Hard to believe there's a way to turn that itty bitty piece of string inside out after sewing. Wish you could have shown that clip.
shorea27 I thought the same thing. Since I don't like stress I'll go buy a piece of cord in my nearby sewing supplies store, that will match whatever fabric/ jeans I'm using. But this was a very brilliant idea.
There is actually a special tool that’s kind of like a hook specifically for turning small sealed pieces of fabric inside out. I wish that I could remember the name, I’m sorry.

when it says measure the width, does it mean the width of the flap? or the whole side? VERY confused, it went too fast and I can't catch it. Please help!

Iah Mesylean that's what I used for mine because I think it'll give a stronger hold however my shelf is bigger and plan to hang on wall

for light items only, you may use 2 layers of cardboard to give extra strength
