    I love how clean this is. My question is: how would you do this with user input? I'm trying to figure out how to enter a number, hit enter, enter another, enter, etc., then when user says "=", then enter- the answer appears.

    • @hyped2476
      @hyped2476 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To do this, then you would place your input statement inside of a while loop, and each time you input a new number, you would add it to the list. Once you are done adding the numbers, then you can use list of numbers and pass it in the function as a param. And this should do it.

    • @hyped2476
      @hyped2476 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IB_info One way to get this done is to use a for loop. You will need to loop through each element within the list and print it out through each iteration. If you do this, then you will get the effect that you want.

    • @IB_info
      @IB_info 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hyped2476 I managed to get it done using for loop now trying to get the program count the total number of words in the sentences.

    • @hyped2476
      @hyped2476 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IB_info Easy. Every time you iterate through the loop, you will have access to each sentence. Once you have access to each sentence, you can use the built in function count("Mo") to count how many words occur within a sentence. This might help too: th-cam.com/video/LvEpMW-5RXk/w-d-xo.html

    You should consider not doing to much in your videos. Your title is "Check if Specific Words Exist in A File" but what you actually did was: "How to count how many times a specific word exists in a file, while also making sure that your program understands it no matter how the word is written and also takes out any signs that we are not looking for" This is not Python for basics. Your title indicates a video that is python for basics, but you decided to do much more "just because" - it confuses the viewer more than it helps.
