Making a Bullock Yoke
Tim Peel makes the metal components of a bullock yoke from scratch using traditional blacksmith techniques. Rohan Morris fashions the wooden yoke.
The ABC Landline crew were also onsite. Catch their story on this and Ron McKinnon's Bullock Team here:

Highly abusive to an animal they actually make a leather collar for oxen like they do for a horse . However some really great craftsmanship Ole time ways great to see it, Not trying to be rude , it's just out of date method for an animal to pull ❤❤❤😊😊

Hi, would you have a link to follow to see what the leather collar looks like?

@@bearpanda3889 look up draft horse pulling contest ! Like I said before I was not trying to be rude or disrespectful. Just look up oxen pictures from the past ,or maybe old type oxen harness I know when I looked it up it was hard to find . Once in a while, you can see this type of harness on westerns. Have a great day 👍

I think I’ll just steam bend piece of black locust. Sounds about fifty times easier. Don’t really understand how the yokes are put together I thought it was just a pin and a u-shaped stick.
