Hello, Thanks for posting the videos. I am very interested in finding out what all the custom modifications you have made to your machine for these endurance rides. I heard you mention that you have multiple ‘escape’ routes planned out, do you have a support team on the ground or are you truly ‘alone’ in the wilderness? A friend and I have made several long endurance rides here in Colorado, but we are limited to a few months between snow melt and the next winter. We have been tossing around the idea of a Utah crossing of possible a Wyoming crossing. I see that you have a radio (is it a ham) and a gps. As you mentioned the cell coverage is useless. What else do you carry for comms? How many flat tires do you plan for and what rescue gear do you carry? Thanks

It should get to the same temperature as the engine, it shares the oil with the crankcase.

You could coat fuse with liquid electrical tape to waterproof it. I plan on doing that for my boat.

What kind of fluid do you use for it mine got super hot last summer thought something was wrong with it is it normal for the rear differential to get that hot

I have an 05 KQ and did the poorboy's version.... I hacked out a chunk of plastic about the size and shape of the access hole in the new panel... its something I should have done a decade ago.... btw I have 14000km and my banana camo KQ is still going strong :)

After watching your video, I check my 07 king 450, with 900 miles, and notice there’s a little play in them, but no leaks in the seals, are they suppose to be tight with out any movement? Thanks

Is that normal? Even if you don’t use the break, an do you think it would be ok to use Kawasaki gear an wet break oil for the final drive, cycle shop was out of Suzuki brand, thanks

Great video, but would rather hear the wind and the sound of the ATV then the music. It would be like we were there without it.
