Hi, everyone! We're finally back with another musicals-based list. This time, we're talking objectively best opening numbers. How can we be objective? We drew up criteria about storytelling, background and exposition and judged musicals against this. So, I was listening to Avril Lavigne last night. It's been a while, but I was an inspired mood, so I created this. Now, I know Gwuncan isn't a particularly popular couple and I don't love it myself (see my Total Drama Top 17 Couples video to see where they landed), but hey, I decided why not. Hope you like it. There are some syncing issues, but it looked okay when I checked through it.

this is so iconic
The 3 villains that had it roughest have to be Heather, Scarlett, and Courtney. Courtney thought she found lov only to be betrayed. Heather has had everything from losing her hair to if I remember being the most injured out of all the contestants, and Scarlett had to be treated as a lackey when she was actually a far more evil genius than the one she was forced to work with, Honorable mention goes to Alejandro for being stuck in a all too fake robot suit for far too long.
@@aaronshy9674 I think Scott was more badly injured. He couldn't even move after Fang first mauled him. His face didn't react to anything either. He was fine after a year, but still. And I think he suffered brain damage, given how dumb he was in All-Stars.
@@strawberrysoulforever8336 See the difference though is Scott got one shark after him Heather had several different ways of getting hurt in several seasons and some how kept coming back only to get hurt again. In terms of whose base injury for one season is worst it's Scott but in terms of collective injuries Heather has had way more injuries.

I think I am a bit like Beth I don't let anyone tell me what to do but also a bit like a Sammy because my brother is always favoritized I also see myself a bit like Noah just in the part of being sarcastic and lastly a bit of Tyler I am so messy and while I'm not too bad at sports my fails are always the stupidest
This song was beautiful and quite symbolic to a few of the romances in Total Drama, while some can be healthy, and some are pretty much a waste of time and shouldn't be together every couple has their ups and downs. Unless they're able to work through it together.

Bowie is hard to pick for. Currently I'm using Style by Taylor Swift for him, but it's more vibe than lyrics. I saw someone else use Circus by Britney Spears, but I didn't really think that worked. My top Scarlett song is actually Time for Tea by Emilie Autumn. Give it a listen - it's a lot darker than you might think. Oh, and I found a perfect Julia song! Never Shut Up Again was a late West End addition to the musical Heathers (replacing Blue Reprise - the original song was also replaced after complaints that the original song was too funny and didn't take the subject seriously enough). The song is Heather Duke asserting her power as the new queen bee, but her new bitchiness and powerful declaratios after being quiet and submissive for so long (not to mention adopting red as her colour) is reminiscent of Julia pretending to be a sweet hippie, then casting it aside and revealing her true self. I mean, it even talks about biting her tongue for a long time and now not doing that any longer.
I like how Kitty is near the top but I can't get over the fact that she isn't "the top!"
