I just discovered planning videos this last summer and I remember that the first video spread of yours that I watched was the week after your son's Harvard graduation. it was fun watching the entire year. Great word for this year! LOVED watching your videos all year long. You talking about your kids being home always makes me happy. I moved back home after graduating college and my mom and I had the most fun times for a couple of years before I moved. I'm going with consistency as my word of the year. It is definitely something I need more of in my life.

Hi Erika, sometimes the kids open one present on Christmas eve. Last couple of years we have done pj's. Now they're grown, I let them pick from certain presents which to open. Merry Christmas to you and your family and safe travel.

While listening to what you said about all the choices of Christmas spreads, I agreed. There are too many choices. Later today the Coca Cola Polar bears popped in my head and I thought since I love them so much, why not have a spread using them. Thank you for mentioning this, otherwise, I would not have thought about using them. I'll look for those pics to use.

Happy Thanksgiving! I am a teacher and only have two days this week too! Woohoo! We're empty nesters, so only child is coming home for Thanksgiving. We will drive a half mile to my mother-in-law's for dinner.

My husband and I live in our hometown. We were going to travel about 3 hours away to do a full family thing with my husband’s family but that had to be postponed. So we’ll be with my family like normal. His parents snowbird so they aren’t here for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving! Sending you and your family health and happiness 💙

We do a fire every Friday! Unless like current blizzard or rain storm. We also live in the woods (but also lots of cleared area due to the fact that my neighborhood was built on lava rock). We have a decent sized property so all the kids can just run and play and my daughter has so much stuff in her room. It is such a fun way to spend a evening. Great spread, Erika! Sorry you were off your vibe in the hotel room, but it turned out great!

There are at least 13 family members I could list who served our country in three generations. However, I will mention in particular my son who served 27 years in the Navy.

Love the blue, my favorite! Where do you get the punched, tabbed half sheets you use for "to do" lists? They seem very handy. Thank you.

My dad's father served in WWII. Pearl Harbor and DDay survivor. (He was from Hawaii and was home for break during PH but somehow got a ride to the harbor once we got bombed). My dad served in Vietnam. My husband served in the Army National Guard.

Definitely nervous for presidential election. We also have some big hubabaloo on a county level that I'm concerned about as well.

I am feeling anxious too. I don't even want to think about this week. My go=to is "God help Us!" and leave it at that.

I don't remember dressing up in later HS, but I don't really know what I did those years. Then I dressed up all of college. Usually 2 costumes a year as we would have parties usually each night of the weekend. I think I dressed up occasionally in my 20s. And now I have a 4 year old so we dress up again. This year we are Thing 1 and Thing 2 and our daughter will be the Cat in the Hat.
