@zachhurst5625 I do the same, sometimes you may have to use multiple pieces, so you have to make sure there's a decent amount of overlap. I do a foot typically myself

I don't cut the roll, I use one piece and go all the way around the array. I feel it's stronger that way if the clips come loose it's like a rubber band and will not fail. What's your thoughts

This is really great information for beginners/people figuring it out on their own. Great video Henry. I’ve been following you the last 2 years and I come across company’s that do a really bad job on S tile bird netting jobs charging $300 all the time (and then we come to rip it off and install our own. I wish homeowners would understand more easily why company’s like you and I that charge more for better quality service/install is worth it. I just did a cleaning today where the homeowner called me out because their previous company won’t answer the phone for the past month. I asked her what they cleaned with and the price, they did it for $90 a cleaning for 30 panels with a window cleaning brush. Hmmm I wonder why they haven’t been answering lol… 😂

Does it still stay in place when you get to the last 15 feet of the bird netting roll? Seems like (if that tool is lightweight) that the tension in the last bit of netting would pull the reel and not stay in place. Looks like a great tool but I would like to know before I purchase it! Also I’m in Modesto and have been cleaning/bird proofing since May of 2021 (with the same professional equipment you use). I also did solar installation for 8 years prior to starting this business!

I would if that’s beeping it’s grounded I’m a professional I would have gone to look at the online monitoring for this first make sure it’s working if it is your set if theirs something wrong like I believe their is her that I better would give you an error code that most likely a ground fault pinch wire maybe and it’s traveling on the rails this is why systems are grounded all the way from inverter to jbox underneath panels

Great video... i have both poles... The modular poles are 500 grams each... I recommend. puttiing a small. amount of. some sort of grease on the metal screw connections. to help keep them smooth , rust free. and make it much much easier to unscrew and screw on.
