now that you used the battery. approx how many pictures did it print on 1 charge?

@@heathertipper9875 you can charge it from the back of the printer using the printers (OEM) power cable or you can buy a seperate charger from Kastar on Amazon

@@2233redwing Sadly, it doesn’t show the count on the printer, you either have to count it before you print or look at the paper trey. It’s one thing Canon needs to add in the next version.

@@brendansgames6955 Glad this video could help. I felt the same way when it happened to me.

@@R.C19668 So when you first got your printer you had to download the app and connect the printer via QR code. It uses bluetooth to connect to it’s unique wifi. Everytime you print it will make sure it can communicate with the printer if you are using the app, else if you are on a pc/mac make sure it’s connected to the special wifi. I may make a video going over this if you think that may help.

@@CreativelyJeff very thanks for your quick reply. The printer works fine when connected to WiFi, however I still cannot figure how to connect when there will not be WiFi available. I'll keep trying, and of course if you produce a video , it will be a great help.

@@R.C19668 the printer has its own wifi name. That’s how it works outside.

Could I ask roughly how long a full charge last

@ So I can print about 200 images before needing to replace the battery. Per my use case thats more than enough. As far as how long that is in time, honestly I dont know.

@@ibrahimman3 can’t vouch for all batteries, the one in my description works

@@Webrisernl Yes you can use the battery while it is plugged into the charging block, and the charging block is plugged into the printer. However it doesn’t seem to charge like the OEM battery mounted to the printer, i mean it charges the battery but it takes longer (a day). I don’t recommend doing it that way. It’s just not the way it was designed.

So you say the battery can be charged without the battery charger but directly trough the printer too? I ask this because I see lots of batterys for sale online without a charger.

@@Webrisernl that's correct; it just takes longer to charge. I tried this on the KASTAR one, and I don't know exactly how long it took, but the printer was plugged in all day to get it to a full charge.

not that i can tell. my phones battery performance seems normal

interesting. I don’t think it was recorded in mono left, but I’ll have to check it out. Thanks. If the issue is on this video, then to fix it, I just need to duplicate the audio channel and make a mono right.

@@cinthiagutierrez6177 maybe this will help…so I didn’t have any apps open when i connected it. Then it popped up asking if it was a headphone or other device, which I chose other device. Then I opened the built-in iphone camera app. If you still have problems connecting it, close all apps, then do a soft reset by pressing volume up then volume down followed by holding the power/siri button until you see the apple logo. hope that helps.
