These guys put on an amazing show! vocals are great, guitars, bass, drums. Everything. Hard to put one above another, however the 25 year old guy who does the Angus part provides an amazing amount of energy that seems to drive the band a notch above all other tribute bands. Lead vocals are really on, both from the Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras, and he seems to look a little like both of them lol. The bass player is SOLID although he was a little hard to pick up in the mix for me, where I was sitting. which sucked. Rhythm guitar was great with strong backing vocals. Chris, the drummer who I spoke quite a bit with after the show, drove the beat hard just like Rudd. GREAT TRIBUTE!
I will gladly post everyone's full names, if anyone knows? I can't find the information anywhere.
This is a show to be seen by any AC/DC fan. A must see I would say.

Jimmy Sakurai is to Jummy Page what Tommy Katona is to SRV.
@@Doctor_MB well then I will go see Tommy Katona as soon as I have the chance! I saw SRV in NYC at the Concerts on The Pier in the mid 80's. My friend had tickets and asked me if I wanted to go. I was like, who is he??? He said "he's like a countrified Jimmi Hendrix". I have never forgotten that description, because it was perfect. Sweet Little Thing was on MTV and that was ALL I knew of his playing. I was blown away. He was soooo damn good. Sadly, that was the only time I saw him live. Thanks man.
@@Spagz I saw an SRV / Jeff Beck double bill in Minneapolis. I needed ear plugs for Jeff Beck and didn't have them. It was in an auditorium and I was not used to seeing rock shows. I went to a lot of Windham Hill new age type concerts in the 80's and the sound was always the perfect volume. Probably my favorite sound experience was seeing a guy named Andreas Vollenweider live. I imagine few have heard of him, though some of his youtube video's have millions of views.
Diggin' the Saludas! My favorite cymbals 🤘
@@Eman1072 thanks man! I was expecting a new one today but UPS got jammed up with the snow I guess. Oh well, Monday will do!

This is a tribute band, right? Still sounds pretty good!
@@Geezer-yf8hv yes it is, and yes it does!
Very cool! Similar to Bill Buford’s setup.
Thanks! Yes similar to his for sure. I have been trying so many different setups the last 2 years since I started playing. Often people point out Bufords, or Careys, and a few others. The funny thing is I just finished doing a restoration on a vintage Pearl Fiberglass kit, and I decided I wanted to set it up completely conventional. Been playing it about 5 days now and I'm really struggling with crossing over. But it is quite fun. Thank you for commenting..👍🏻

I have a YAMAHA ROCK TOUR CUSTOM purchased new in 1995 (I think it was produced in 1994) in birch/mahogany, made in England. It was also called mod.8000. I never understood what the differences are with the 9000 series.....do you know more? thanks
Well the 9000 were Birch and the start of the "Recording Custom" line. Much more detailed build and quality. The interiors were finished, even the bearing edges were finished, then sanded down to prevent heads sticking. The 8000 became the Tour Customs of course, and later were made Maple. Yours were made by Premier, who Yamaha partnered with for a short time I guess. Then they went back to manufacturing in Japan, and the shells were made with machinery that Yamaha designed, but Sakae made them. Eventually (pretty recently) Yamaha built a factory in China using the same shell technology, and now they build their own shells. Those 8000's were nice though. The only Yamaha shells that never get much resale value, were the "Power V" series that were made in England. Of course the entry level stuff like YD Drums not much either. But 5000 (then Stage Custom) and up hold their value VERY WELL. I see people selling kits at about 80% of new price regularly, and sometimes MORE if they have upgraded heads or include some hardware.
@Spagz thanks friend. I didn't know many of the details you described to me. even the collaboration with SAKAE.... when I bought the ROCK TOUR CUSTOM, I was a beginner and I remember that there was a recording custom there in the shop, but I chose the RTC..... anyway I had the chance to observe both and the differences seemed only in the wood. hardware and mechanics were the same. I knew however that the BIRCH and MAHOGANY used for the RTC were of excellent quality. today I also have a LUDWIG CLASSIC MAPLE and I was thinking of selling the Yamaha but many advise me to keep it...... thanks for the "CHAT"....🤙🤙
@tazzinasellout7968 if you have the space, and don't need the cash for other goodies, keep 'em!! 😁👍🏻

@@jeffersonhuarache8863 nice!
Hugo is good but it lack charisma hahahah. What i've read is that: Band Journey, esp Neil Schon, don't want to take a clone of Steve Perry the reason why Arnel was in. f\Imagine from 2007 up to present 2024 of November still the bonds among the group memebers [old and new] getting stronger.
The price of concert tickets for these older bands (who in some cases outright suck now!) are ridiculous. Going to see Hugo/Voyage and these type bands is just so much fun, and an affordable evening. nd for me, usually a much shorter and less costly drive. I love 90 minutes from NYC. That's the usual place bigger names play near me. It's 90 minutes if no traffic. Then add the tolls, which are ridiculous, then add parking in NYC! The trip costs more than going to see a tribute band, plus having a few adult beverages. I still go see big concerts, but I am picky now. I'm not going to see Roger Waters this time for instance. The tickets are way too much, and he just can't play or sing like he used to. I will enjoy my memories of seeing him, and David Gilmore, and Pink Floyd, when they were amazing. And the tickets weren't much more than the shirts!!
Genius.
@@FazMaTaz thanks for saying so! He was amazing.

Terrible video & audio
@@ErnestSomogy I can't say I agree. Perhaps I am biased, but it's shot in 4K. Not sure what type device you're watching on or your settings. Of course lighting with this kind of footage is always less than perfect. The audio is the best possible given the circumstances: recording with a smart phone. Which is all that's allowed in these places from the seats. Of course I have no control over the house sound. Sorry you didn't like it.

Still, Jimmy is not Jimmy.
@@bassproable well, hard to argue. 😂
the singer used to be a great TH-cam Zeppelin singer. I think now he's just not feeling it. I mean, Jimmy is playing "live" related material and he's singing "studio" related material and it's not really mixing as well as it could.
@@chebrneck I know that's how Jason found him because he mentions it. Otherwise I would not have known. I know what you mean though. Part of it may just be the amount of shows they do. They play quite often from what I understand. I think there are 2 performers in a band who have physically demanding jobs that can wear out from playing too much. Different kind of physical of course, but the singer and the drummer. Especially as we age. Plant struggled with it for sure, as young as he was. Bonzo didn't seem to, but he had superhuman energy. 🤣 The toll it took on him was mentally.
Totally agree. I make up that the singer is too lazy to learn the TSRTS version, which Mr Jimmy has down.
Holy Hell!!!!! Neil Peart would be proud of this performance! That drum solo was awesome too! Nice job fellas!!!!!!!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
