P2231- 02 sensor issue
P0455- Evap. system leak.
In this video I show the location of the O2 sensor and the purge valve. These are the most common issues when these code show up on your car.

Mine is a black plastic cover. Do you turn it? Pry it off? WTF! No one shows this in their video lol
Its a lockable twist cap, use a plier to twist it to the left i believe that cover hides n protects the headlights from water damage

🔴🔴🔴have you checked underneath the seat or in the back mini box? Usually the metal to hold the gas tank up is there...I found mine in there... you barely see it the the whole length is tucked inside the frame 😂😂😂🔴🔴🔴

Is the p2231 code the up or downstream sensor?
Dose gsxr1000 spark plug and cars spark plug are the same????
I think they are different sizes and I know for sure they are gaped differently. I would google your bike spark plug brand and it will tell you the right size and brand to use. This bikes most recommended was NGK

Would probably be a good idea to check the gap on the new plugs going in and torque them to manufacturers specifications. I would also recommend an anti seize compound as well.. Thanks for the video 👍

Glad i found a vid of my exact bike. Busted HID on mine, trying to put the factory headlight in. Looked like there was a bulb holder/bracket the bulb fits to? Then that hooks up to the harness? The h7 bulb plugs were too narrow on mine. Any way you can show the piece?

Hey, with your P0455, was the purge valve causing an issue with the pressure on in your gas tank? (E.g. You open the gas cap, granted it isn't already open, and no air rushes out like it would normally. Just opens with ease and no sound.)
Sorry I just saw this. I would try buying a new cap.....cheapest possible fix :)

how did you get it out with it being plugged in? mine won't unplug from the back of the bike

Hello, I have a VW Passat 08 and the code P0172 came up, exactly what sensor did you change out for this code?? Was it the 02 sensor? Thanks!
Thanks for the video! I have a 2006 Jetta and I'm looking to buy my own O2 sensor so I don't get charged an arm and a leg. Do you have any recommendations? When I Google, I get a lot of results, but I'm not sure which one will work for my car. I got the same P2231 code when I took my car to Advanced Auto Parts.
Get the part number from the auto store and search ebay and amazon with the number :)
how much was ur sensor , i have the same p2231 code on my 2005 vw jetta
Sorry it took so long to respond. We got it from autozone (I think) and I believe it cost me about $120.00 for the O2 sensor
