Aren't there both deferrals which accrue interest and have to be paid at the sale of the house as well as actual exemptions for lower income people that don't have to be paid at the time of sale? It seems to me that a buyer would want to make sure any deferred property taxes were paid by the seller at closing. In the case of a senior exemption there would presumably be no potential issue for the buyer. Reference - dor.wa.gov/taxes-rates/property-tax/property-tax-exemptions-and-deferrals

Love watching you guys. Serious about buying or renting. We currently live in Madison, wisconsin. We would love to be close to our daughter, a veterinarian , and granddaughters who live in Sequim. Our older granddaughter will turn six in August. Right now she is being homeschooled. My husband 74, and I, 68 love the beauty of the peninsula.But the lack of sun in winter especially gets to me. But my girls are my sunshine. Anyway, we are keeping track of everything coming on the market in Sequim and PA right now.

Nice yard. The house was very 70s, but nice. It reminds me of the place my parents bought in 1968 in Lacey, WA. That house had two big fir trees in the front yard. This house was very similar to my parent's place. The only difference is that they paid $19,500 for their house as a new build. Prices have gone up a bit since '68. Sunland looks like a nice subdivision from this video and the last real estate update.

Nice tour. Your camera work is improving with each of these tours. I do have one suggestion. Shoot more video than you need with slower camera movements and edit out what you don't need/want.

FANTASTIC! I keep looking at this one when I look at my Port Angeles homes for sale searches and it seems beautifully cared for. But, I'm just looking at the listings for a couple more years until I retire and relocate. This one, though, is eyecatching. Thanks for the tour!

My wife is still decorating the Christmas tree. You are right that the tree is getting smaller every year. 15 years ago the tree had to go in the great room because it was 12' tall. This year the tree is about 4.5'. Now that the trees are smaller my wife actually cut it herself out in the yard (we have over an acre of forest). This was her 81st Christmas tree and I expect the tree to get a lot smaller over the next few years and likely turn into a potted tree. Happy a happy holiday.
