I have the AOC 240hz .5ms I run 240 stable with or without recording normally in a 1v1 map in creative I would get around 500 to 600 fps but it just depends the maps but don't worry u would never drop from 240 it's always gonna be stable in creative now in Br in my case I always run 240 It never drops from that never had that problem with fps I be getting around 240hz to 400 because this season is very demanding. In my opinion u should get the cpu first and see how much fps u gonna get and then buy the monitor because in this season u won't get 360 stable its always gonna drop u might play in the middle of 240 and 360.

I think u would run 240hz but I don't think it would be stable it might drop fps cause this season is really demanding. It might give u some bottleneck. If u dont mind telling me how much is your budged for the cpu?

No I haven't tweaked my pc and in my opinion if your motherboard has the am4 socket it's better to get the r7 5800x3d that way u wouldn't have to spend on another motherboard. Also the r7 performs really well and its more than solid in pretty much every game. The i5 13600kf might perform better in general use and games but not by a lot.

Hey has this been starting recently or has it been going on for a while? Cause before I got the 5800x3D I had the 4060ti with the r7 3700x which is kinda similar to the r7 5700x but I never got 240 constantly or it didn't even get to 240 and got microfrizzes and then I upgraded to the 5800x3d and my fps started to work good so ur cpu could be the problem because u have a really good gpu also make sure that u have the drivers for the gpu up to date

Overclock (with undervolt), clean install of windows, and Dx12. I'm getting now almost 300fps constantly with a 4070 and 12700k oc to 5,1 Ghz. Dx12 has better input lag and can use better the hardware. For dx12 you need to disable GFB on "Exploit Protection", but only for the games that use Dx12 like fortnite or new COD

I need to say that I'm playing without high quality textures, distance view on epic and postprocesing on epic, textures usually are on low but isn't too much diference on epic (like 15 fps)

@@vice138 its the cpu bro, og season was just less demanding. the cpu is limiting you unfortunately, 5800x3d is way better for fortnite
