เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 9 พ.ย. 2022
Welcome! Chapter 2 Farmstead is a young, first generation regenerative farm and homestead in the making. Our goal is to raise food in a way that honors each animal by allowing them to live out their days as their nature intended for them to. We want to raise food that we feel good about bringing to the table, nutrition that we are proud to share with our friends and family.

Mowing The Property with Kubota M7040 and 10' Brush Hog!
Great video! Does the 7040 have any lightness in the front end when you lift the bush hog off the ground? I am in the market for a new bush hog and trying to decide on 3 point or pull behind. Also trying to decide between 8’ or 10’. I have a 7040 as well.
No lightness in the front. I don't feel anything lifting the cutter but I can feel feel the rear end lift some whenever I set it down and release the weight. I went with the 3 point because of the terrain here, and knowing I would need to be able to lift it in areas. Definitely Happy with the 10ft, and the tractor handles it with No problems.
@@chapter2farmstead great. Thanks for the info. How’s the bush hog itself? Is the Titan brand a good one to go with in your opinion?
@@doubleafarm This thing is stout. I haven't used another but it has been working great for the last 2 years. Unfortunately I had a bearing go out in one off the rear tires, but I was able to get a replacement from a local shop. Took me 10 minutes to replace. Cat 3 hookups, solid welds. She's heavy but the 7040 handles it with ease! Biggest complaint is the paint chips off easily, nothing that sanding and repainting doesn't fix though.
@@chapter2farmstead great! Thanks again!
It only weighs 1,480lbs. So pretty light for a 10’ cutter. I own 2ea of the titan 10’ cutters and really like them. It’s great value for the performance that you get from them. Mine are both used behind 125hp 4WD tractors and I damned sure don’t even feel them behind the machine. I mostly use them in 540 pto economy mode on my tractors with the torque I have with the 6ea cylinder engines.
