EMBRYO DEVELOPMENT
Here’s a concise timeline of **human embryo development** during the first week after fertilization:
### **Day 0: Fertilization**
- A sperm penetrates the oocyte, forming a **zygote** (single-cell embryo).
### **Day 1-3: Cleavage**
- The zygote undergoes **mitotic divisions**, forming **blastomeres**.
BY DAY 1 2PN
BY DAY 2 2-4 CELL
-By Day 3: **6-8-cell stage** is reached.
### **Day 4: Morula Formation**
- The embryo becomes a compact **morula** (16-32 cells).
- Cells start to differentiate into the **inner cell mass** (ICM) and **trophoblasts**.
### **Day 5-6: Blastocyst Formation**
- A fluid-filled cavity (**blastocoel**) forms.
- The zona pellucida thins, preparing for implantation.
### **Day 7+: Implantation**
- The blastocyst attaches to the uterine lining.
- **Trophoblasts** invade the endometrium to initiate implantation.
This sequence marks the transition from fertilization to the early stages of implantation. Let me know if you'd like a visual representation or further details on any stage!

ALIGNMENT OF ICSI NEEDLESS
มุมมอง 264หลายเดือนก่อน
The ICSI Procedure Preparation: Sperm and oocytes are collected (sperm via ejaculation or retrieval, oocytes via ovarian stimulation and retrieval). Selection of Sperm: A single, healthy sperm is selected under a high-magnification microscope. Injection: Using a fine glass micropipette, the sperm is injected directly into the cytoplasm of the oocyte. Incubation: The injected oocyte is placed in...
OOCYTE/EMBRYO VITIFICATION
มุมมอง 66หลายเดือนก่อน
Embryo Vitrification is an advanced cryopreservation technique used in IVF to freeze embryos quickly and effectively, preserving their viability for future use. Process : 1. Preparation : Embryos are exposed to a cryoprotectant solution to prevent ice crystal formation. 2. Rapid Cooling : The embryos are plunged into liquid nitrogen, cooling them instantly to -196°C. 3. Storage : Vitrified embr...
MICROFLIDICS CA0 PLATE DEMO
มุมมอง 140หลายเดือนก่อน
Microfluidics for sperm selection is an advanced technique used in ICSI to isolate the healthiest sperm. This method mimics the natural reproductive process, allowing motile and morphologically normal sperm to navigate microchannels, separating them from immotile or DNA-damaged ones. It enhances the quality of selected sperm, reducing the risk of chromosomal abnormalities and improving fertiliz...
CONVENTIONAL IVF
มุมมอง 66หลายเดือนก่อน
Conventional IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) involves stimulating the ovaries to produce multiple eggs, retrieving the eggs, and fertilizing them with sperm in a lab. The resulting embryos are monitored, and one or more are transferred to the uterus to achieve pregnancy. Excess embryos may be frozen for future use.
SPERM MOTILITY CHECK
มุมมอง 50หลายเดือนก่อน
A sperm motility test measures the ability of sperm to move efficiently, which is crucial for fertilization. It assesses the percentage of actively moving sperm and their movement patterns, such as progressive motility (straight-line swimming). Poor motility can reduce the chances of sperm reaching and fertilizing an egg, impacting fertility.
SEMEN THAWING
มุมมอง 139หลายเดือนก่อน
Semen thawing is the process of warming frozen sperm (previously stored via sperm freezing) for use in assisted reproductive technologies like in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) . Steps in Semen Thawing for IVF: 1. Preparation : The frozen sperm sample is removed from the liquid nitrogen storage tank and allowed to thaw at room temperature or in a water bath...
SEMEN VOLUME MEASUREMENT
มุมมอง 16หลายเดือนก่อน
Semen volume is important because it plays a key role in reproductive health. It contains sperm, nutrients, and protective substances essential for fertilization. Adequate volume ensures effective sperm delivery, supports sperm viability, and improves the chances of conception. Low volume may indicate underlying health issues or impact fertility.
SEMEN FREEZING METHOD
มุมมอง 1.2Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Semen freezing (or sperm freezing ) is the process of preserving sperm for future use in in vitro fertilization (IVF) or other assisted reproductive technologies (ART). It is often done in cases where sperm might not be available at the time of the procedure (e.g., cancer treatment, military service, or medical reasons) or to store high-quality sperm for later use. Steps Involved in Sperm Freez...
DOUBLE DENSITY GRADIENT METHOD
มุมมอง 223หลายเดือนก่อน
The Double Density Gradient Method is an advanced sperm preparation technique used to isolate the most viable and motile sperm cells from a semen sample. It is particularly useful in cases where sperm quality is suboptimal, such as low sperm motility, high levels of sperm DNA fragmentation, or high concentrations of dead sperm or other debris. This method is commonly used in assisted reproducti...
SWIM UP METHOD
มุมมอง 243หลายเดือนก่อน
The swim-up method is a commonly used technique in sperm preparation (sperm washing) for assisted reproductive technologies like in vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) . The method is designed to isolate the most motile and viable sperm from a semen sample, while separating out immobile sperm, debris, and other unwanted cells. How the Swim-Up Method Works: 1. S...
SPERM IMMOBILISATION IN ICSI
มุมมอง 395หลายเดือนก่อน
Sperm immobilization in IVF refers to the process of rendering sperm cells immobile to facilitate their handling and manipulation during assisted reproductive procedures, such as intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). The goal is to control the sperm's movement, making it easier to select a single, viable sperm for injection into the egg. The key techniques used for sperm immobilization inclu...
