It's sensei Michael Kimeda son of sensei Takyashi Kimeda from Toronto ?
Yes he is .
Superb explanation! Thank you.
Originally called ude hishigi which did imply you shatter his elbow. Just my 2 cents
Very nice
😜
thx
Is ikkajo nage meant to make uke fall down? Whenever I do it all I can do is make uke take a few steps.
Im train in Aikikai but i grown to love Yoshinkan's training methods. Im have my shodan but i am really thinking about coming over to the Yoshinkan.
Thanks for the translation 👍
berlioz excuse me but i've been trying to find a yoshinkan dojo in Montreal and i haven't found it, i see this seminar is in this city, can you tell me what dojo is this? and if is yoshinkan?
+hugo villarreal Hi Hugo ! This was actually shot in the Yoshinkan Repentigny Dojo. About 35 km east of Downtown Montreal. There are few Yoshinkan Dojos around and in Montreal. Hoping that you have a Facebook account, here are the Facebook pages adresses for the Yoshinkan Dojo in Montreal and near suburban:   Repentigny: facebook.com/Aïkido-Yoshinkan-Repentigny-113480392061203/?fref=ts (Sensei Patrick Rémillard) Terrebonne: facebook.com/Aïkido-Yoshinkan-Terrebonne-218322894904251/?fref=ts (Sensei Patrick Rémillard) St-Eustache: facebook.com/AikidoSaintEustache/?fref=ts (Sensei Yannick Gagnon) Montreal Downtown: facebook.com/Club-daïkido-du-Cégep-du-Vieux-Montréal-Bujinkan-264144173794757/?fref=ts (Sensei Eric Gougeon) Montreal (villeray): facebook.com/kaishinkandojomontreal/?fref=ts (Sensei Patrick Dufault) There is also one South Shore of Montreal (Longueuil) but I do not know the adresses. Hope this helps a little !
+berlioz0011 thank you very much
Merci Alain!
Encore!
OK , just different naming.
What do you call two-hands grab one wrist? That's what we call Ryote Mochi in Kokikai. What he's showing we call Ryokatate Tori.
Both hand grasp is Ryote Mochi. This video is showing three different response to both hand grasp. So it is two hands grabbing two hands. That's the way it is being called in Aikido Yoshinkan.
Isn't that Ryo (kata) te (grab both wrists), not Ryote Mochi (two-hand grab)? Or do y'all have a different name for two hands grab one?
Watch my channel for more...
I am a big fan of Kancho Gozo Shioda, i have read all his books. Sensei Johnston is very good in showing the fine points of a aikido technique, not brute force, but force that comes from the hips. Keep it comming. Thumbs up.
Thx ! Johnston Sensei is very at explaining techniques. More in my channel.
Looks very good,
