@devangshah123 the old regalia has been devalued, now there is a 1 lac rupee spend criteria per quarter to avail the lounge benefit. Are you sure you have met the spend based criteria?

Yes we met, I checked the smartbuy of HDFC as well. but she did not even take the card, she just informed MasterCard not allowed. So bring other cards.

@godsbruh while that is the official eligibility, you can also get it on card to card basis if you have another credit card with 5 lacs limit.

So it's the same link that's in the description. When you click on the link, then it will take you to apply for the platinum travel card. However, on the top left side, there is an option that says "View all cards". Simply that and on the next page you can find the MRCC card, then right below the details of MRCC you will have the "Learn More" button, click on it and it will take you to MRCC page and from there you and click on "Apply". By doing so the referral will still be active and you & me both will receive the referral benefit. Also just in case you are not aware, Amex festive season is on and if a referral gets approved before 22nd Oct then we both should alss receive limited edition playing cards as well. Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, I did avail golf lesson through this card. I have just uploaded a video on this channel for a lesson that I took today, you can check that out. As for the charges I was charged Re. 1 to verify the booking but other than that nothing else has been charged on the statement.

@saktibiswal6445 Amex doesn't charge anything for vouchers, so the 1,500 rupee Amazon vouchers are just 1,500. However, a small update on HDFC is that you might not get the 1% cashback for credit card payments through HDFC debit card.

@vishalsharmaize I would say, compare the benefits of both and decide what works best for you. The reason I am saying this is because you said you need to pay the joining fees, for that you are getting golf benefits and international lounge access. They only make sense if you play golf and travel overseas. Also, with pinnacle card you get more points value but on legend you have a spend milestone. Overall, I would say only upgrade to this card if you are sure you can extract rs.17,700 worth of lifestyle benefits from this card. Hope this helps.

@akshayb4192 so, if you are going for a lesson you don't need to pay for anything else. But for a 9 or 18 game you need to pay caddie fees and either have clubs and balls or rent them.

@TheNaveid For international lounge you just use your dreamfolks card, there shouldn't be any activation required. I believe you can just show your card and they will give you access.

@priteshjadav7268 So, if you have applied and got approved within the offer period you should get it soon. There is no official time for delivery of the explorer kit. However, you can contact the Amex Customer Care and ask if you have qualified for the kit or not.

@raujikhandeparkar4772 yes, so transfer ratio would mean how much points you will get if you exchange them. For example, 1:1 ratio would mean when you convert your points (say 100 hdfc points) for some other points (say Accor points) you will receive the exact same amount of points (so 100 Accor points in exchange for 100 hdfc points) But if the ratio is 2:1 then you only receive half of the amount (i.e. at 2:1 ration you will get 50 Accor points for 100 hdfc points). @@NomadicSage Hey Hi so i wanted to give you a quick update on this ,so i made a ID in IHG and the thing is even after 80 % bonus points ie if i have Regalia gold and 50k points i will get 25k + 20 k IHG points and i tried to book a hotel in say pune with Cash i have to pay approx 4k per night were as via points ihave to pay 10k per night , so i am not sure how i will profit from this offer ...... do let me know if my calculation is correct ....

@raujikhandeparkar4772 Hi, that's very strange. I am not sure how this could happen. Generally there is a tax component component that you have to pay in cash and only the room rent is paid by points. But paying by points shouldn't increase the amount. Can you check if the 10K amount you are seeing, does it include a break up for all the components?

@dilipbhardwaj5391 For Accor, your best bet in HDFC is either Infinia or DCB. Both them them have a regular conversion ratio of 2:1

@dilipbhardwaj5391 Yes, you can go for regalia gold. However, the milestone benefits on it will give you vouchers and not points. So you'll only earn spend based points.
