Few days ago i had stupid internet discussion where my oponents tried to tell me, that Nintenbdo is for families, babies but hardcore players needs something more (i did not get what is that "more" for hardcore player). And that Nintendo games are over-rankning because of nostalgia. Useless discussions, i will just have a fun with so much special games like Zelda, Mario, Metroid even i am 40 yr old and played some of the franchizes for the first time on NSW - so no nostalgia, it is just perfect gameplay. Xenoblades Chronicles DE will come in few days and it will be my first entry to the saga.

ive still gotta play torna someday and 3, but somehow 3 jus aint my vibe, i miss the blade system and i dont like the chars nearly as much as the ones in 2 ,hopefully thatll change someday tho

It was the music that did it for me too, except with Xenoblade 2, I didn't have a Wii so I just decided to jump in with Xenoblade 2, and the music just blew me away so much I was along for the ride from that point 😅

I can't even play Xenoblade Chronicles X right now. My Wii U won't sync with the game pad anymore. I purchased a part that might fix it but not sure if there is anything else wrong with it. I already pre-ordered the switch version, and I can't wait to play it.

One thing I really really hope that Xenoblade x DE refines is the UI, I adored the game but holy moly the UI in the og wii u version was horrendous from how small the text font was to equipment management (also Monolithsoft pls give us gear and class sets for the avatar character so players can switch up classes without needing to manually rebuild everything from equipment to arts configurations every time we wanna play something else)

I am seriously happy for you. Thinking Nintendo was only a toy must have been such a limiting factor, and this must have open doors. Nintendo might lack in hardware mostly, but their gameplay and art direction is among the best there is. And that is coming from the PC gamer which is me. I love picking up most of the stuff that has Nintendo's seal of approval, often over many triple A high performance next-gen PC (xbox or PS) titles. Nintendo is just great, for family and hardcore gamers. I can play something with my 6 year old daughter, and something by myself. To me Nintendo is the only platform that offers something completely different from the PC. On xbox and ps there might be some exclusive titles, but mostly there is a comparison available on the PC. Nintendo has stuff I cannot get on PC and certainly not with the same quality. And I'm not talking about how high-end the graphics are, but about how the game feels, how refined the gameplay is and how strong the art direction is. I am convinced that if Nintendo manages to turn their eshop into something like Steam, so that titles carry over to future devices and system architectures, then Valve and Nintendo will corner the market.

The moment the Xeno 2 combat clicked after watching a guide on youtube. Seriously the game teaches it very bad. But damn once it clicked it slapped me in the face with pure f-ing joy.

There's a workaround to what happened to your Wii U btw, It happened to mine twice, it's usually just general setup problems. You can get it to work again.

I'm a PC guy, I've hated consoles this gen. The switch though? I'm at like 459 games between physical and digital. P.s psyched for Xenoblade X re release on switch?

I honestly do hope they improve the pacing or at the very least speed up the progression system, because that was a big reason as to why I dropped the game initially when it came out. Especially when important quests were locked behind level gates. At times it felt like ways to artificially inflate the game's runtime to justify itself being a 100 hour adventure.

I'm playing on my WII U today. Graphics are good enough till March next year. The Gamepad implementation makes it better than having it all on screen taking up real estate and or pausing and taking away immersion. I'll play and own the Deluxe version one day. But till then I'll roam around this beautiful world . P.S. The Wii U has had many games put on the switch so owning a Wii U for years has paid dividends. Good day y'all .

This is my all time favorite game but I will say Elma looks worse in this definitive her eyes aren’t as wide and the hair lining the face looks half way chopped off which is worse the original had bigger anime eyes and her hair comes fully down her face granted she’s not really attractive either way

I'm starting to feel like maybe Xenoblade Chronicles X is cursed... because this marks the *second* time has been published for a console on it's way out. I'm still gonna buy and *play* it but...

I also lost all my save data on my wii u before. I never finished xenoblade x because of it, i had a lot of hours and i dont think i got far but it still made it difficult to restart, and i had gotten used to my pc's graphics wuality by then so the vaseline like blurry smear was a bit of a turn off, so this is why this remake is perfect for me.

Maybe after seeing how well X2 and X3( both expansion too ) SOLD they had more than enough money to warrant a definitive edition.

XCX:DE is the best news we received in years

France does have physical versions on amazon. Got xenoblade: DE and xenoblade 2 in their respective collectors editions from amazon directly, shipped from france to me. Was painfull, because... Only 15 in stock on both items... But it worked great for me. And it saved me 20€!

Well, I've just turned on my Wii U console on checked my save file on my Xenoblade Chronicles X, and it turns out that everything that I've done on that game are all still there and intact. Although, it's ashamed that the online co-op missions and other online features are all shut down. But I hope that online stuff will be back up and running on the Nintendo Switch version of this game.

I'll say that the "slow story progress" of the original had to be intentional for the developers to direct your attention to the side content of the game which was a clear focus when looking at the quality of the main story versus what you get from the sidequests. I personally like the story of X unlike other opinions, but also believe it's a set up for something even greater

XCX ends on a *massive* cliffhanger. My bet on the "additional story content" is a Future Connected-type final chapter to tie everything up and prep for whatever happens next.

Sorry I disagree the characters faces look worse in the switch version and if you cannot see I suggest you get yourself over to Specsavers!
